Hi all,

My dog is having surgery tomorrow for calcium oxalate crystals. They need to open up the bladder and remove the build up of crystals (20+) to prevent any blockage of the urinary tract which could be fatal. This will be the second time he's had to have this surgery, last one being four years ago. It's expensive and it takes a toll on him, but he's so worth it.

Please pray the surgery goes smoothly and I get my little guy back and this issue does not come up again.

I am praying for all of you.

Forever In Him,
Missy

Praying for your pup. All creatures are in the Lords loving hands.

“But ask the beasts, and they will teach you; the birds of the heavens, and they will tell you; or the bushes of the earth, and they will teach you; and the fish of the sea will declare to you. Who among all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind."

Hi all,

I wanted to sincerely thank everyone for all your prayer. The surgery yesterday went smooth. Praise God!!

They did have some difficulty flushing his urinary tract and bladder and had to rinse it a lot more to get all of the oxalate crystals out as it was almost a sand consistency. This left his bladder very inflamed and sore and swollen. He also had two teeth pulled because one had a deep cavity and the other was chipped and the root was showing. So he has stitches on his bladder, his stomach and gums.

He is never, ever, a whiny or loud dog but last night I had to sit up with him because he wouldn't stop whimpering and crying. He's in a lot of pain and I so wish I could take it on myself for him.

Please pray for a speedy recovery!

Forever In Him,
Missy
