No no no. Mankind has invented something called "Dictionary". They contain meanings of words. I suggest you try one.

: a doctrine or political program based on the assumption of racism and designed to execute its principles: a political or social system founded on racism
: racial prejudice or discrimination

Notice how Trump clearly fits the definition of being a racist? I think this is why so many Trump supporters try to deny the meaning of the word, because they don't want to accept the reality that Trump is a racist.

I think you'll find that that definition has been greatly expanded to include things that are definitely not racist, i.e. preference is prejudice.

It is a 'de facto' definition by those who are 'politically correct'. Preference also takes the form of 'benign neglect' which has been determined to be prejudicial and thus racist.

Just my 2¢. A naturalistic viewpoint:

Race: A term referring to a composite of human phenotypical variations--skin color, hair texture, facial features, and some others. These are heritable traits, which evolved among early humans living in specific geographic regions. (Ethnicity is another term for a collection of traits associated with people descended from specific geographic areas.) They are readily observable, but are of minor, or nil physiological significance.

Racism: A form of tribalism. Which is the human tendency to be uncomfortable, suspicious, or even hostile towards people different from ourselves. We descended from hominins living in smallish tribes or clans. There was survival value in being wary of other tribes who were competitors for territory, food and water resources, or females of breeding age. It's a behavioral instinct that we've inherited from our proto-human ancestors. But in the modern world, where people of all different ancestries must often live and work together, tribalism is maladaptive. It can be suppressed by learning and acculturation, but we all have it to some degree. Unfortunately some people manifest it overtly in words and actions. And when such overt tribalistic impulses are based on racial traits as noted above, that's racism.

Because that's what happens when you believe man is a evolved animal, you classify him like you do the other animals. Feelings of biological superiority are simply the next logical step in the thought process. After all, can not according to the theory one group be more biologically fit for survival than another? Contrasted with the belief all men are created equal and none superior to any other.
