• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

I've realized something: in my 10 years of service to Our wonderful Heavenly Father, I've been arrogant, and I feel like I was a spoiled brat, thinking that He owes me something. The fact that He, through Jesus Christ, Our Wonderful Lord and Savior, has DONE INFINITELY MORE than what I ask for nowadays and beyond that. I give my humblest thanks to Him for keeping my family (including me) in the apartment :)

Please don't be too hard on yourself Loyal you have been through very trialling times. Maybe think about it this way, you have learned a lot of things over the last 10 years and are the better for it. Rejoice His good life and fight all the bad life with it, and you will always know you're on a winner in The End.

Peace.

I've spent so many nights crying. And I've destroyed parts of my body that can remain hidden, and now I'm wondering if I should do the same to my arms. Maybe then people will be nicer to me, maybe then they'll understand how much I'm genuinely hurting. I can't wait for school.

Feeling much more positive about my situation after a really good weekend. spend most of the day yesterday listening to sermons and enjoyed that a lot. It is hard to find good sermons at times but yesterday i was in luck, i bumped into four excellent sermons with more to go yet.

This was the best sermon i listened to yesterday. i recommend it if you are seeking to be joyful in The Lord. Joyride: Purpose

Have a great week:wave:

I'm not feeling well today...I vomited after I took my daily supplements, and I was afraid to eat for a couple hours afterward and now I feel lightheaded, I have a headache, I'm really hungry and I feel malnourished...I also hope I am not getting liver failure...I sense something bad going on....I gotta write all these symptoms down, but I'm worried that they're not going away...

I accidentally unfollowed someone a few weeks ago when I was cleaning out my list and I think the person took it personally and did the same to me lol...oops...

I'm not feeling well today...I vomited after I took my daily supplements, and I was afraid to eat for a couple hours afterward and now I feel lightheaded, I have a headache, I'm really hungry and I feel malnourished...I also hope I am not getting liver failure...I sense something bad going on....I gotta write all these symptoms down, but I'm worried that they're not going away...

i vomited as well this morning but before i took my meds unlike you. A nasty way to start the day isn't? i often wake up feeling nauseated they say it is from P.T.S.D with me. A horrible way to awake. Usually a few hours after i wake up i can handle a light breakfast. Some banana and yoghurt go well together, light yet nourishing.

As far as your other symptoms are concerned unless you go and visit the doctor and get diagnosed what can you do? You can worry about them all yet if there is something wrong then you might be able to take medicine or have a surgical procedure to fix the problem. Doctors are able to do a lot nowadays when it comes to illnesses or disorders.

To worry make things much worse i know from experience to be true. When i analysed my worry i could easily see that depression made me see everything very gloomy and that my decision not to put weight on my worries and fears, but instead learn to put my faith in His love, paid of big time dealing with my depressive moods and overall sense of well-being, even if i still have a depressive illness.

i advise you to go and see a doctor if it was only to get peace of mind with regards to your symptoms.

Peace

Reading about the vaccines causing Autism controversy. It was done by a fraudulent study posted in a medical journal and has lead to deaths and economics costs due to parents not vaccinating their kids. The parents would rather let their kids get sick and die than to end up being someone like me.

Somehow it's still a mystery to society on why I have such a low self esteem.

i have heard about various recent studies done oversees which all claim that autism can be caused by the aluminium and/or mercury inside vaccines and even that such can be reversed to a large degree.

International scientists have found autism's cause. What will Americans do?

Not sure what it all means but convinced that much more studies need to be done before we can conclude that vaccines don't cause or contribute to autism or other pathological or neurological defects.

The good news is that if autism has been caused by vaccines then we can prevent it to befall on future generations and help those so effected by it today much better. This means that their might still be hope in the future for more healing in your life brother. Wouldn't that be great?

Peace.

this reply may not belong here but do I ever feel discouraged and it's for a really lame reason perhaps, to most of the population. I was reading today about how if your ring finger is longer than your index finger that means you're a man or that if you appear to be a woman with such a finger issue, then people may think you are a transsexual and that was offensive to me because I'm a female through and through and my ring finger is longer than my index finger...I already feel like a loser and this one takes the cake. It's OK if you laughed at my post because this is a pretty quirky post.

p.s. it stemmed from all this...on this website (how I came across it, I don't quite recall) this man was suspicious that his girlfriend was a trans, and the respondents said to look at the ring finger/index finger comparison and that if the ring was longer than the index it means she's a man and my ring finger is longer than my index...what is my purpose in this world :(

See ladybug you believe untruths about yourself and you hurt badly because of it. The truth is you know you are a woman, and you know your ring finger is longer than your index finger, and you know you are not a transsexual! So hold onto the truth and disregard those untruths people make up with their speculative minds.

These bad thoughts you are having come from an anxious mind which has descended into the negativity of your depression.

So please take comfort out of the fact that believing the truth about the truth brings good feelings but believing lies about the truth hurts. Once i understood that it made my life much easier a depressed person.

Did that help?

i'm ok though I still don't like the concept of this world and to keep on going on in it. any day now my internet will be cut off. my aunt is gonna move in with us for a bit. I think I will end up going homeless. I hear that a bicycle helps. I read that there is a lot of free food in the dumpsters. I might take a shot at traveling round and about on a bike. I don't think I will find the homeless life style worth it but I will eventually be forced into giving it a try.

who knows, i might be pleasantly surprised. I wax and wane with concepts such as trying to make it in the world without having a boss and without abiding by the structures that people commonly follow. other times I think nothing at all is worth it and would rather just get it over with.

one thing is certain, I want a perfect world with very few alien others in it, i'm so sick of enemies. so tired of co-existing with so many people with a huge gap in unity. I want ultra borders, I want to be my own reality. only when I have my own place will I be safe, safe from all the crap I reject.

I'm tired today as it's been a trying week. But I feel heartened as I've interacted with a number of members who are seeking the Lord despite their problems. That's what I always have to do --- seek the Lord despite my difficulties. Good always comes of that. God bless everyone here and I'm praying for everyone too.

Faithfully,
