Oh, I dunno, like it was a few centuries ago, maybe? Famine, pestilence, ghastly warfare, torture and/or capital punishment for relatively minor offences, illiteracy the norm, medicine nonexistent by today's standards, ridiculously short life expectancies, most of the world mired in paganism, women treated as chattels in most cultures, a majority of the children born didn't survive to adulthood, unwanted children simply murdered, or "exposed" to starve (especially girls), rank superstition normal amongst the uneducated, which is to say the vast majority of the population, on and on. "Ah, the Good Old Days", right? Yeah, right. Sorry, but the "things have never been this bad before" schtick is unalloyed hogwash. We're all unimaginably better off than our ancestors were. Is there still sin and unbelief? Yep, that's the nature of fallen humanity. We're all of us sinners (not just those guys over there). So if our Lord was waiting to return when things had become as bad as they were going to He missed His window, because conditions for the average human being on this planet have improved by leaps and bounds, even in my lifetime. No, I really feel that He will return at least before 2030. I will be disappointed if not. How much worse can the world get?
Any history buff can show you myriad examples of times far, far, far worse than these. But who reads history anyway?Trust me. You just don't want to know the answer to that question.
History? Whassat? A lot of years ago I worked for a pharmacist who had been in practice during the Spanish Flu epidemic. The flu swept through the new DuPont company towwn of Old Hickory, Tennessee, and killed thousands of people who had swarmed in to work at the huge new munitions plant they had built for WW1. They literally stacked the bodies of the dead like cordwood. Doc said the only medicine they had that was any good at all was aspirin to try and reduce the fever. No antibiotics, so opportunistic infections probably killed more people than the actual flu did. 20 to 50 MILLION people died from the flu worldwide, and they estimate that 1/3 of the world's population had it. My grandfather survived it, after a week or so of being raving mad from the fever. He had to get back to the fields after that, but he was so weak that he had to lie down between the rows and rest long enough to get his strength back to do a few more minutes work. This, of course, was while my great uncle was being gassed in France, although he wasn't one of the 20 million or so killed in that war. He survived to return to California, but mustard gas had left him a physical wreck. And of course, Europe was left a wreck as well, with Russia falling to the Communists, Germany to the Nazis, Italy to the Fascists. There was a brief interval between one nightmarish war and another, with more millions upon millions ground under the wheels of the juggernaut of global war.I suppose that you have never read history?
Is anyone gonna aknowledge this
Since that appears to be gibberish, I doubt that Muslims wear it anywhere at all.I know. And the Muslims wear this, guess where, on the right arm and on the forehead.
it is now may 9

And these folks just can't imagine a world any worse off than this one. Right.

June 7, 2018 is a significant day. Jerusalem was recaptured on that day. May 14, 1948 was a significant day, Israel became a nation. So we have 70 years since that day and a full 50 year anniversary for Jerusalem next month. According to Psalm 90:10, one generation is 70 years (unless you are strong, then 80). We've had upheaval in many Muslim countries since Dec. 2010 starting with Tunisia, then like dominoes, Yemen, Egypt, Libya, Syria, etc. Revolts leading to leaders who have been in charge for decade to be removed (plucked) from their thrones. The little horn will emerge and unite 10 nations (Islamic, not the EU) to attack Israel. Since we have aborted the Iran deal (which was never ratified by Congress or signed by the Ayatollah), and Russia, Iran, Syria and now Turkey may form an alliance along with other nations, yes we are close. With all the chaos, terrorism, rumours of war, list goes on... it's pretty hard not to feel like the world is coming to an end. There's so much sin its ridiculous, the mainstream media promotes sin. There's sin literally everywhere. It looks like there's a lot prophesies being fulfilled in the middle east. I just got this strong strong, feeling, that Jesus is close to coming around the corner.
Simple question,... am I the only one who feels this way?
