Hey folks,

I was wondering if someone could help explain the differences and similarities in Pentecostal Churches? For example, is there a difference between Assemblies of God and Holiness Pentecostal? What about Wesleyan Pentecostal?

Thank you in advance.

Those three you mentioned may be very similar; I think they are all Trinitarian; it is the United Pentecostal Church which differs greatly by being Non-Trinitarian, they are sometimes called "Oneness Pentecostals"

Hello! There was a time when you could retrieve documentation to decide and come fairly close. But shaking is occurring in heaven and earth’s Church.

Good and Bad

The report is not all good. When the report is good, the participants rejoice and testify to the world’s lulled-mind that feeds off of bad reports. That is why the territorial properties of doctrine and culture and conviction are too many times now unswept, in my opinion the line of be non-conformed to the world has been tricked into a quasi-connection by conforming to it.

Forty or more years ago you could find the detail of those Pentecostals exhibiting conservatism right upto liberal theology, today’s deciding factor isn’t faring well which makes the word of God and old Church Statements of Belief more of a refuge than ever. :)

Otherwise, the generalization of differences can be achieved through conventional searches, depending on your convictions.

JM, was there a direction that may have been thought useful in some way resulting from your curiosity?
