This is a tough one. Our world has perverted G-ds intent and plan and as a result young people today are put in an awful position. Originally, G-d intended us to be in marriage not that long after puberty. It was the Father's intent for young men and women to express those physical needs with a wife or husband...

But, because the world has perverted the truth and has abandoned the Fathers plan we have young people who are often not entering marriage at all and those that do are doing so in their early 30's The very idea of a man and woman both being virgins at marriage is considered today as "insane"

No amount of prayer, study etc is going to change the biological drive G-d created you with. It probably serves you better to focus your energy on your walk and pray for your husband and pray that G-d would bring him to you.

Start by understand that you can't.
Next, ask God to handle it.

Look up the Orthodox Rule Against Defilement--they are prayers for purity, and you can adapt them for your own needs.

Consider also the Lenten Prayer of St. Ephraim the Syrian, which we will be saying several times a day soon.

Also, those who have never been married think falsely that it will satisfy many needs within them. This is not true. If it were, the divorce rate would not be so high among the christian church.

Lust is when you obsess or continually fixate on someone of the opposite sex.

Desire is a how we were created. Without desire it would be IMPOSSIBLE for a man to impregnate his wife.

Lust carries the connotation of an uncontrollable desire; lecherousness ( unrestrained or excessive indulgence of sexual desire.)

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a single Christian guy having desire for a single Christian girl. There is nothing at all wrong with having STRONG sexual desire for your wife or a wife for her husband.....

Romans 12 is a great chapter in the bible and it's got a good guide for how to live. It starts with an introduction:

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. -- Romans 12:1-2

So how do you do this? how do you offer your body as a sacrifice and transform your mind? It goes on to say how:

Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgement.
We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. (use them!)
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.
Honor one another above yourselves.
Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.
Live in harmony with one another.
Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.
Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone.
If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

THIS is what Paul says is what is you need to do to renew your mind and to offer your body as a living sacrifice. Be humble, serve others, and focus on what God says is good. (Philippians 4:8 is a great test).

I highly recommend that you read this chapter in its entirety and if there is any part of the bible you memorise, memorise this. Eat this, sleep this, think this, follow this, and you will find yourself living this.

We stay chaste and pure by our decision to fight sin and temptation, in the strength of the Lord. Fixing our eyes on HIM, the author and perfecter of faith. And then sticking to the decision.

You would need the services of someone gifted and trained in the Charism of Discerning of Spirits [1 Cor 12] to determine if there are demons/spirits of lust etc. in operation. A general check may be had in the text of an article in this magazine on page 18 entitled "Flesh or Demons?"
