Reading comprehension is apparently harder. Here's the challenge one more time:

"Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find 3 national news stories about the original attack."

The story needs to be about the original attack, not about her disappearance a week later, but about the original attack.

So is it the premise of the OP that if there is a hate attack that is shown to be a hoax, that they are all hoaxes or all blown out of proportion?

The difference is that there are actually hate crimes being committed in the name of Trump and BLM isn't actually doing anything like that yet we have actual police (read: State Authority figures you all are asking the black community to trust unconditionally) engaging in this narrative for their own agenda, playing upon the fears and stereotypes that white people have about black people to manipulate public opinion and cover up their own crimes. The girl in the OP, her parents forced her to shave her head in order to shame and punish her.
