Wishing something to be real doesnt make it so. Do you feel its justified to keep lying just because you dont like planned parenthood?

I hear preachers telling us that if we don't do this or do that, we will end up in hell. People don't bat an eye at that....

Yet here comes Steinem and Albright talking about a 'special' place in hell.

Why is everybody so angry at the thought of a 'special' place in hell?

I guess you are listening to different preachers than I am. However, if those preachers are actually ordained ministers who have studied the religious theology of their sect, they might have some sort of authoritative take on it. Steinem and Albright are just intolerant crabby old ideologues with no religious credentials pontificating about women belonging in hell purely based upon someone not kowtowing to their particular form of political activism. They want to guilt young women into submissiveness to their vision of feminism and not have the young women think for themselves. Albright by using that phrase is actually admitting that her own personal form of feminism is more a religious belief than a reasoned stance and her attack is on those she considers infidels.

You have not heard of preachers professing the wages of sin?

Yes, you must be listening to different preachers....

Apparently you are turned off by these women discussing hell. That's alright....perhaps you can be warmed to the voice of Michelle Bachmann telling us Obama is an antichrist?

It seems that some people on the right don't like it when members on the left use religion in politics....which is quite ironic.

It's interesting that Notbright said that while standing next to a woman who didn't support ANY of the victims of her husband's sexual assaults; a number arguably greater than her delegate count. I wonder if there is that same place in Hell for secretaries of state who don't support their embassies in hostile regions. The thing that amazes me is that Democrats have two choices; a career criminal who says "What difference at this point does it make" when her actions and inactions result in the lives of four dead Americans, or an ancient-of-days socialist curmudgeon... and they are falling over themselves deciding which to support. If that's the best the party can come up with, it's time to fold up the tent and go home.

Satan Finally Found His Political Party—The Democrats!
http://townhall.com/columnists/doug...inally_found_his_political_partythe_democrats

This is some of the stuff the conservative side likes to post regarding hell. Attacking Steinem and Albright reveals a double standard from the right.

People are quick to forget, intentionally or otherwise, that all authority comes from God.

1 Timothy 2:1-4;

"2 First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. 3 This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth."

Instead of all the pathetic mudslinging we see going on with politics, we should be praying and conducting ourselves in a Christ-like manner; something in woefully short supply in many areas with political discussions being one of them.

Yes I only hear Lutheran preachers that proclaim that hell is avoided by grace through faith not by works. What Lutheran preachers have you been listening to that would say works are the way to avoiding hell? BTW The wages of sin is death.

Apparently you are turned off by these women discussing hell. That's alright....perhaps you can be warmed to the voice of Michelle Bachmann telling us Obama is an antichrist?

No, I'm turned off by anyone that has the hubris to condemn another to hell for not agreeing with them.

It seems that some people on the right don't like it when members on the left use religion in politics....which is quite ironic.

Politics is the religion of many on the left. That is why someone like Albright believes that anyone that deviates from her particular brand of feminist dogma is an infidel and deserves eternal punishment. Her intolerance of any women that would think for herself in deciding who to support is no different than the intolerance of the religious zealot. If you do not agree 100% with her she concludes you must be working for the other side.
