Amen

Lord help us to enable to sperate light from darkness, just as you did in the beginning, so let us do now, in this mixed up upside down world where good is bad and right is wrong, help us to see clearly what is of the light, our motives actions and deeds, if we give, don't let their be a heart of pride or false humility, when we serve, let us do it unto you and you only Father, be kingdom minded in all that we say think and do, to you be the Glory,
Amen

Lord, renew in us a desire for prayer, and faith in Your response. Build networks among us like this, where we feel free to pray with any of Your children, any time, in any venue.

Revive in us a sense of what following You really means. Keep our faith pure, less bogged down in obligations of religious ideals, and more focused on who You are. Bring devoted people across our paths that will support the way You want us to live out our faith.

Wanted to resurrect this thread, the Bible says we have not cause we ask not, and we may ask for things that are not in God's will, just wanted to resurrect this thread to see if others could add to it, and because I thought someone might need a reminder of some things we can ask and pray for that are in God's will to give...

God Bless!

Over the years, I have discovered along with fellow brothers in Christ that asking comprises a much smaller part of the prayer life. Thanking, decreeing and declaring are the core of my prayer life. Along with much discussion with fellow brothers in Christ the discovery is that faith is increased with less asking.

Yes
God knows what we need, we dont have to ask.
He wants us to "ask" not because "HE" doesn't already know, but because "WE" don't sometimes know, and it helps "US" to know it by defining it and verbalizing it, into known terms, helps "us"...

For example I had a certain sin problem but didn't know how to "verbalize" or explain the problem with God in prayer, but as I matured, I was eventually able to verbalize and define the problem in words out loud to God in prayer, after I was able to do this it helped me immensely with the problem, because "I" got to hear it verbalized out of my mouth and I felt like I had finally narrowed it down to it's source, after I was able to pin it down, repentance and not doing it anymore became so, so much easier, not because "God" didn't know the problem, but because "I" didn't know it, and it really helps to "know" "I" needed to hear myself say it, which meant defining it, in order to let it go...

God Bless!
