Nothing like conservative tears to quench my thirst.
I get the notion that some people on this forum are of the opinion that only liberals ever show hatred for conservatives and never the other way around.
I'm guessing when an Obama bash thread or a anti-gay thread, or anti-liberal (You can't be Christian and liberal) thread comes around, said people sick their heads in the sand or underwater or in a combination of both.
When a conservative says that "gays are attacking America," "gays are abominations," "being gay is sickening," "being gay is unnatural/perverted."
Tell me what is there to misunderstand about that? Is there a different definition for the word perverted which instead means "awesome and super duper?"
And when their side happens to say those things much more often than ours, what is there to misunderstand about that? When conservatives who DON'T say such nonsense, nevertheless close their mouths and ignore the comment as if it doesn't exist. I never hear a conservative say "that's not true, or that's wrong." Not on this forum at least. They say NOTHING. Nada. Zip. What my dad would call "a big ol' goose egg."
And the tepid excuse we here is "we just don't worship" gays, as if a liberal NOT calling gay people those names and wanting them to get married is anything even remotely comparable to a theists love and praise of their god of choice. And I've heard one in particular blame liberals for gays not voting for conservatives. As if WE have to give them a reason.
Droves and droves of conservatives were out screaming for the mixed president's birth certificate. None of them had crap all to say about Bush's certificate, or Clinton's or Romney's and none of them have ever seen it....because none of them ever asked about it.
And we asked them, why do you care so much about Obama's and not theirs? And we get no answer.
And what is there to misunderstand about that?
Droves and droves of conservative were out saying "Obama's a Muslim."
In spite of the fact that he's a professed Christian, and goes to church, swore his oath on the Bible.
So why are conservatives more likely to think he's a Muslim? Why do we have to hear about Obama's "Muslim ring" that he got from his dad or the one time he dressed in African clothes? Why is that of any significance?
It has nothing to do with race, so why was Bush never suspected of being a Muslim? Or Romney? Or Clinton. Why only Obama?
They then bring their heads back up when liberals or the ghastly mainstream media or the dreadful contemporary culture come up with a response and they feel so victimized because people generally have a tendency to laugh at the joke.
"How dare you mock me? I'm above reproach. In every way. In what I say, and in how I say it. When I lose, it's never my fault. I'm a Christian conservative. I love my country and my (real only true God).
And I am above reproach."
It's annoying but at the same time it also makes me happy. The grade-school whining that they can't always have their own way, makes me happy. The painfully (for them) realized fact that people can criticize them as much as they criticize us as per that pesky 1st Amendment they pretend to care about makes me happy.
Let them
and ROLF at that.
