a Dream About My Workplace

I can see that it opens from two sides, the front and "back". And not only that, both sides are unlocked and open; I can see through the lockers. Most lockers are empty, some contain coins that are silver in color (can't say that they were silver coins). Some were unusually big and bigger that your typical US coin.

At work, you have to trust that when you leave your valuables in there, that no coworkers or people sneaking in will pick the lock and take your things. But here, locking wouldn't secure your things, because the lockers were structured with a back door vulnerability.

While you seem to be getting a different sense about the dream, it is much like the economic crashes happening in a few locations, which devalue people's earnings. Or the mortgages which have been sold off so many times that we don't really know who owns the paper for our houses. If we were to default on enough payments, who would claim the property?

Today I had three reminders of securing my property. I lost a credit card for a few hours, couldn't find my phone all day, and had a notice from the bank that a large amount was withdrawn.

For me, these were reminders to be more protective, organized and less careless with financial matters and valuables. Lock doors, tuck credit cards into an additional layer of covering, follow my accounts more consciously, etc.

Even if the crises in Cyprus, Argentina, and Zimbabwe don't touch us, they will still ripple outward and make people nervous, and theft will likely increase.

Back to your dream, I think it's showing you even more -- that something specific has a back door opening, like the retirement funds in the news. We can work diligently for years, and then our savings can lose all value when currency loses value. People saved for retirement, then were told their funds were going to shift, outside of their control.

Lord, bring justice to these situations, and alert each person to the wisest steps they need to take.

This has everything to do with discernment possibly the 'gift of discernment' which comes out of prophetic and wisdom.

The SPIRIT searches all things and reveals all things, HE is showing you, that you see the people/staff / coworkers as 'open' nothing hidden, as GOD sees.

The coins are the temptations, to think you work only for money, when in reality GOD gives us money, but we work in HIS KINGDOM (wherever we are).

The coins are either 'lusts' that you see in others, or hidden lusts they have.
Need more prayer to understand more.

In my dream I'm walking through the kitchen (Where food is prepared. Things we indest. Could be symbolic of what people are listening to or where it is coming from) of my workplace (Perhaps your literal workplace or some larger scope as Parsley indicated) and unlike how the locker room (Place where personal items are secured. Items of value or clothes- how people present themselves) and kitchen are separate in real life, in my dream they happen to be meshed together (Perhaps showing how peoples 'personal' items influence what they say & listen to); the lockers are in the kitchen. Looking into the lockers, I can see that it opens from two sides, the front and "back". (Parsley makes good points about this & I agree with Ezeric's view of this indicating a gift of discernment operating in you) And not only that, both sides are unlocked and open (The Lord has opened people's personal lives to you. There is responsibility as well as provelege associated with this. ); I can see through the lockers. Most lockers are empty (Perhaps suggesting people being open to have their lives influenced, or lacking things of value in their lives.), some contain coins (something of value) that are silver in color (can't say that they were silver coins) (Silver can refer to purification perhaps from trials or it could refer to faith. Sivler coins have real value where as notes only have 'face value). Some were unusually big and bigger that your typical US coin (Showing representation of something bigger than a country, perhaps the Kingdom of God - faith. '). During these observations, no one else was in the kitchen or dining room (A unique revelation for you). Lastly, I believe it was night time.

any clue as to why the lockers are in the kitchen? (What people put value in (the lockers) determines what somes out of their mouth & what they feed on (listen to)) the empty kitchen and dining room?(Luke 14:23 - I think the reason why the Lord has given you the dream. There is always room for more in His Kingdom. Also perhaps indicating the priveleges of being able to see into the lives of the people there & what is valuable in them has been given uniquely to you there.) coins vs bills? (silver coins have real value, notes/bill only have face value) and why I fell asleep during/at work and woke up late at night? (In this part of the dream you could symbolize your co-workers which is what the rest of the dream seems to be about. Falling asleep in the NT can refer to death or in a dream spiritual death. The 'went home' could refer to entering into a relationship with Jesus. Perhaps this part of the dream is both an encouragement to you to be alert & sharing your faith & a revelation that some people there are more than ripe to find 'home' in the Lord & adibe in Him)

And that's all I have at the moment.

some facts about my current work place:
- the first time I worked there was back in 2007
- between '07 and 2013, I have been rehired there at least 3 times, if not 4
- I left and came back due to various reasons: school, Army, and convenience
- a conviction of mine has been how will I be able to reach out to my co-workers
- I don't plan on making it a career to be here. If things pan-out, God-willingly with this other thing I've applied at, I'll be leaving this restaurant again
- about a week ago a co-worker and I had conversation regarding politics, government, the Illuminati, and religion/Christianity. In said conversation I was able to explicitly tell him I was a Christian. He isn't, though he did say he believes in a "higher power". Lastly, him and I a great friends and have a great deal of respect for each other.

I'm eager to see how the Lord will use you guys.

Hello brother,
Your dream is interesting but I can't see anything in it, reason is, I am not you, we are of different minds in respect of dreams. There may be a message in it for you but what may be hindering you is that you are here asking for the interpretation, this said, pay attention to the passage that you quoted and seek the Holy Spirit who will lead you into Truth, man cannot.

If you are truly humbled before God and there is a message for you then God will reveal it but the interpretations of dreams don't come rapidly for a reason. It took me over 5 years to receive most of the interpretation of my 20 second dream, go figure, and I'm still learning of the details as they come.

God will test you and all people with dreams, some are from satan as counterfeit dreams and it's only to push you to seek the answer quickly. God doesn't reveal the answers all at once, He wants you to learn to seek Him and place your full trust in Him before any man or woman. When God sees that you have only eyes for Him then He will begin to open your eyes.

Just because a dream intrigues you doesn't mean that it has any spiritual significance. Your dream may be from God and only you may be the receiver of the interpretation, it was given to you so shall the answer if there is any.

Now, I'm not saying that you should not discuss it with anyone, far be it, God sometimes talks to you through others but not always or completely. My point is, even if you feel that you are very close to God and trust in Him, there may be a door opening for you to enter and seek Him.

He stands at your door and knocks, and if you open it to Him and allow Him in then He will dine with you. The locker doors may be telling you that you have not shut the back door where satan is sneaking in to wreak havoc. God finds closed doors, why are your's opened?

Just my thoughts, which may be totally off course but it's the best that I can do to say to put God first in all things. We sometimes need to be quiet and do more listening but always be patient, because God takes time to change people; people also must take time to change. In my research, I have discovered that it takes about 3 years to fully brainwash a person without their know, this said, if we are brainwashed by the dragon who deceives the entire world then it will take time to reverse the damage done to our minds.
