Your point? So provision would not be prosperous? That's funny

No, I am prosperous.
Simon Peter said:I understand you are a WoF pastor, so we wouldn't expect anything else.
Or was that just a 'positive confession'.
peace,

So prosperity (being prosperous) IS NOT MONEY. Money would be a byproduct. I am RICH weather I have money or not. I never do without, all my bills are paid, at times I have extremely large amounts of money at my disposal. It's only a tool. Money is not the problem, it's greedy people. If you have a problem with money just give it all away after you have paid all your bills and food. Find a good source to promote the Kingdom of God and that should solve the problem. As for me, I don't have a problem. I don't chase it, but I end up with a lot of it at my disposal.
The main thing when it comes to prosperity, is your heart condition and being a good steward with the byproducts God has given you.
There's a doctorian of having the desires of thine heart, unless you consider Psalms 37 verse 4 misunderstood.

Nope. I take it in light of other scripture, such as when I ask for anything according to his will, I know He hears me. When He gives me the desire of my heart, He does so when it is according to His will, which is where the first part of of the Psalms verse comes in, delighting in the Lord, wanting what He wants.
When I want what He wants, I can ask according to His will, the desire of my heart, and receive what I ask for.

Yes!!! Including riches.Matthew 6 : 33 but seek ye first the kingdom of God ,and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you.
The Prosperity doctrine teaches that those who have faith in God will become wealthy, have the best of material things and life will be sweet and comfortable.
Note that Baal was and still is the pagan god of fertility and prosperity. This is was the sin of Israel. They had a faith in God, but they also worshipped Baal to ensure that they were able to have good harvests and healthy families. They put material wealth before daily trust in the providence and care of God, as they did in the desert before they reached the Promised Land.
So, it can be argued that the present day Prosperity Doctrine is merely a modern form of Baal worship, and the same judgment that happened to the Baal worshippers of Israel, may very well happen to those who subscribe to the Prosperity doctrine.
