Biblical and other support for those Hurting badly!

My biggest surprise ever was to find Jesus among the suffering ones. Truly He suffers our lives - for He laid down His Life so we could be but how many of us hold Him tightly during times of depression?

Always besides me, but whom had I been blaming, for my misery all this time. for I had been so blinded by my bitterness, and desolate heart and mind, because of the wicked scheming, that I had no even seen Jesus still hurting me like hell right beside me and all.

So I made-up with Jesus, He is my Best Mate now!


Oh Lamb of God!

I know for sure that Your Voice is You!
For The Living Word within is true
Right within my soul Your Spirit dwells
About God's Kingdom Your love tells.

Forgiving love is wonderful within
For it surely does away with sin.
Bringing thankfulness alive
Bringing an end to all my inner strife.

Keep teaching me The Way to go
Living Waters through me to flow.
A heart praising God each Day anew
His loving Word that ugly Dragon slew.

Slowly day after day You take me in
Onhigh with You and all God's kin
Praising Father for only He is good.
His loving Truth my constant food.

More and more The TRUTH reveals
As The Lamb of God opens all the seals
Angels beside themselves with glee
God's amazing Salvation I may see!

Oh Lamb of God - You alone I praise!
Oh Your loving truth bringing Grace!
Without Your Word I could not have known
What Your love in me has sown!

What I found so great with the Bible was that many parts related rightly to my own life.
The Jews met death and destruction on their way because of sin, and so had I. The apostle Paul pointed out to me that all of Scripture was Spirit Breathed and was applicable for the instruction of the spiritual man, incredible how much the Bible begun to teach me when I begun to apply it personally.

Take this awesome piece for example describing how the joy of serving God is no longer present, but the longing for restoration cries out to God

Isaiah 64

Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down,
that the mountains would tremble before you!
As when fire sets twigs ablaze
and causes water to boil,
come down to make your name known to your enemies
and cause the nations to quake before you!
For when you did awesome things that we did not expect,
you came down, and the mountains trembled before you.
Since ancient times no one has heard,
no ear has perceived,
no eye has seen any God besides you,
who acts on behalf of those who wait for him.
You come to the help of those who gladly do right,
who remember your ways.
But when we continued to sin against them,
you were angry.

we all shrivel up like a leaf,
and like the wind our sins sweep us away.

Our holy and glorious temple, where our ancestors praised you,

and all that we treasured lies in ruins.
After all this, LORD, will you hold yourself back?
Will you keep silent and punish us beyond measure?

When our hearts and minds are guiltless, open, joyous we conceive from the Seed of God. All good and true comes from up there. It is where all good ideas come from. Out of Heaven all good comes. For those of us who also suffer from bipolar, In our manias we can therefore be in close personal contact with Jesus, a pity that our mania often invalidates what we live at a later stage!
When we are low, weak, guilt conscious, tearful individuals then is the time to sow those seed of hope in God's loving truth and fight of the negativity attacking us, so we can climb back out of our pit again.


God's love shall overcome, over against hopelessness?
God is my refuge whom shall I fear, over against panic attacks?
God loves me, over against the accusation that nobody loves you!?


Depression goes on but with God it has meaning and purpose, depression is always a valid battle, but we pray for others more than for ourselves.


All so our contact with Heaven will not be broken and Romans 8:35-39 is true


Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:
“For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

When I was depressed it always seemed that God was gone, anyone else relate to that?
Forsaken by God because of my sin and sinful living I always used to think. It took me years to get that out of my system.

For The Truth is God never forsakes us and is always besides us every step of The Way. It are those lies that we meet through our depression that make our suffering a whole lot worse if we believe them for such lies hurt us without ending.

For The Truth is

The Son and the Father in Spirit always walk next to His children, but the lies that the children believe stops the children from comprehending such Truth. The children are hurting while God is hurting not to be able to comfort or help His children, for they wont let Him.

Ponder this in your hearts dear strugglers. When hopelessness and loneliness speak at worst, consider looking around - away from the lies bringing you such agony and look at the Truth of God, for then you will see The Truth about the hurt that lives in God that you would hurt such agony in The Lie while He is there with Heavenly comfort awaiting you to step into His Truth.

One of the biggest mistakes was that for many years I judged myself unworthy of God's salvation.

It hurt me and God a lot, I know that now.:o

The truth of depression is that it cuts us of from all good life, so often Heaven is not a place where we can be happy and carefree, but hell is the place we must go to.:o:o:o

It was only because I read The Word that the truth of God's salvation dawned once again.

For we are saved by faith not by how good we have been according to the rules down here.

So if you believe that Jesus died for your sins then you will certainly taste the goodness of salvation and end-up in Heaven after the trial down here has passed by. God Himself promised your salvation.

All glory to Him!!!

For all who let Jesus lead them away from a life of depression good things lay in store. The Bible itself promises good things for those who put their trust in Jesus. For He doesn't deal with us like this world deals with us but in The Spirit of God He brings good news to those who are in downtrodden and in despair. Let Jesus change your life through the work of the Holy Spirit for He knows how to fix bad life into good life.


Is 61:1-3

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the Lord
for the display of his splendor.

One thing which stands out with clinical depression is that the depressed person doesn't hold love for self any longer. Indeed a person cannot harm themselves or commit suicide when they still have a healthy love for themselves.

I found that love for self is one of the main ingredients for surviving major depression.

For when I was in my deepest depression I hated and despised myself and it was only the love of Jesus towards me that made me see how far I had fallen.

Honestly true my depressed brothers and sisters God loves us with an undying love and He wants us to also have love for self otherwise He would have never commanded to love our neighbour as ourselves.

Our depression robs us of all self-esteem so to turn that around let us become experts in caring for ourselves by letting God's love dwell in our hearts also for ourselves.

Have you noticed how depression is bringing negatives into our lives? Unloving forces awake bitterness, hopelessness, despair and hate about ourselves and towards ourselves. And so our lives of depression take hold of us and build us.:o

To fight these forces with the power of God's love is the task at hand. Where God's love, grace, forgiveness, thankfulness, love, faith and hope rebuild us into new beings.

The way out for us depressed people is to fight the negativity with the positive forces God has put on our way, such as love, faith and hope and to forgive ourselves when we fall for the negativity in our lives, for this is the best way to balance our lives again.

Let us live lives of love also towards ourselves and build our psyche with God's Goodness for that is one of the best weapons we got to fight our depression.
