• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

First my dear sweet loving sister Jo, NEVER appologize for posting your feelings here. WE ALL are here for you and dearly care for you. You mean so much to me and many here. I worry and pray for you every day.
Second. I can tell you want my old doc said when I lived in my home state. Something about having a cold and taking cold meds on top of my SSRI's causes a bit more depression, he said that after time it will wear off. SO PLEASE, I ugre you to contact your doctor about this. I know that medication in different countries are different so I am not quite familiar with the cold meds in England.
Third, OH I HAVE BEEN THERE many times feeling needy and all. Dear sweet loving sister Cally gave me some advice a few days ago, she said pour your heart out to Christ, all your cares and worries. I did so and the next day I felt a wave of peace surrounded by me.
Also please know that if I lived in England I would love to have tea and biscuts with you. You are a joy.
MANY BIG PRAYERS OUT TO YOU, IN FACT I said a big prayer for you just a while ago.
YOU ARE DEARLY LOVED my dear sweet loving sister.
GOD BLESS YOU and LOTS of love to you
(((((((((MANY BIG HUGS)))))))))))
PS KEEP POSTING! :)

You are not alone! Pour out your heart to the Lord. Then make sure to add some praise.
How can one praise when the heart is broken and life is so cruel?

Offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

This verse brought me much comfort as it showed me praiseing God esp when I didn't feel like it was so pleasing to Him.
At times it felt like I was almost having to spit the words out because it was so difficult. You can to.

Keep on seeking and reading these forums.
They are a blessing. Don't judge yourself. Who made you judge(hug)?
What ever is in the past is IN the past!
Keep reaching forward.
Phil 3:13
I do not count myself to have apprehended, but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead.
