I'm rather interested in skincare. Even if I couldn't create an entirely new product, it'd be fulfilling to improve on what's already out there.

Teleportation!

Wouldn't it be awesome to go somewhere else instantly? I would make small hubs like bus stations where people can come and go. It would really solve a lot of pollution issues and money woes on current transportation.

Sure its a little sci-fi, but I think it would be a great thing to have.

Actually, I'm not so sure I'd be interested in a new product.

My hypothetical company would focus more on marketing and improving upon the "green" technology we already have. Finding some way to make things like solar paneling and wind turbines more accessible to every day people and utilized more where it can be utilized, encouraging the installation of dry compost toilets and making electric cars better and more convenient.

I currently do own a company, although it's not officially registered with the state as one. The product is a way of distributing creative works to a particular niche audience using a Creative Commons license and filesharing as a means of saving money on advertising, so that artists, musicians, and authors don't have to go through big companies to publish. I guess you could call it a "self-publishing aid". Unfortunately I'm getting so bogged down in technical details that I haven't been able to launch, and I had intended to launch by the end of last October.

If I could own any company at all, though, I would found several seastead communities with the goal (as suggested by the Seasteading Institute) of providing economic and political independence for anyone willing to set up a business, home, or organization there.
