Fellowship with CindyisHis (3b)

Sometimes when I think of all GOD wants for us and desires for us.. you know especially to love always.. when you are constantly mistreated.. It gets so hard and difficult to be obedient.. not out of lack of love for HIM but because it is just hard..

I love this scripture and it comforts me..

He leads me in paths of righteousness
for His name's sake.

Also I love these too.. the whole Psalm is good too..

I fear no evil;
for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life;
and I shall dwell in the house of the
Lord forever.

I am so glad the LORD leads us in paths of righteousness.. without HIM where would we be??

It is hard to love when we we're mistreated. We must draw our strength from the Lord by going to Him in prayer and keeping the Word before us. And drawing strength from fellow believers.

I find giving love makes me feel loved. I am much happier when I am loving to people, and not too happy when I'm grumpy or in a foul mood, spewing my irritations at others. I have to repent, change direction, and walk in the light again. Proverbs says when we walk in darkness we don't even know what we stumble at. That's in chap. 4, before v. 20. 1 John says we walk in darkness if we do not love.

It helps to remember we war not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, rulers of darkness, and such that have blinded the minds and are influencing the behavior of others.

I've been giving more thought to obeying the Lord if we love Him. When I think about how we are in our relationships with others I can see this easily. Think for just a minute with me. If you have children what would think if they never listened to you and did not do what you asked, and yet say "I love you". Huh? Or what about your mate? What if your mate doesn't listen to you? Do you feel loved? And children, how many children don't have parents who listen to them? When we think about how it feels when no one pays attention to us we can more readily see that our words of "I love you" mean little if we don't show ourselves loyal to the one we love.

There are amazing and wondrous promises attached to loving the Lord. They are marvelous beyond our limited comprehension, yet we are invited to step into another realm, another place with Him, where we can be much closer to Him. Listen to only a handful of what awaits us. Let it penetrate your heart. How you hear makes an impact on how you receive.

John 14:21 Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.”
22 Judas (not Judas Iscariot, but the other disciple with that name) said to him, “Lord, why are you going to reveal yourself only to us and not to the world at large?”
23 Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them.


Proverbs 4:20 My child, pay attention to what I say.
Listen carefully to my words. (Here we are - how to regard His Word)
21 Don’t lose sight of them. (We are must be wary, for much in this world can cause us to lose sight.)
Let them penetrate deep into your heart,
22 for they bring life to those who find them,
and healing to their whole body.

What a promise that awaits us!

• He will reveal Himself to us.
• The Father will love us.
• He will make His home with us.
• It brings life.
• It brings healing to our whole body.

And this is only a handful!

This clarifies for me how crucial it is to see God's holiness above everything, and how we must fear/respect Him.......i see it sooo clearly now.....it must come first, then evrything falls into place...i've been meditating on this lately...

This is true. And when we respect the Lord, giving Him the honor He is worthy of, it affects every facet of our lives. It affects my behavior in everything.

I was eating today, early this morning, and I realized if it were not for the goodness of God I would not have this food. As I began to eat with more gratitude, I ate it slowly. I thought about the many times I woof down my food, harming my body in so doing, bordering gluttony, and um...at a loss for words...it's just disrespectful and crude, dishonoring to God when I do that. When I am thankful, I realize it is practically holy, for He made both the food and my body, and my body is for the Lord.

It leaks into everything, this thought of honoring God and loving Him with all our hearts.

oh amen.....i can relate...it's this "hurry-sickness" that plagues us...rush rush rush...and not contemplating Who God is....Lord help me...it's hard for me to slow down....

I think much of it has to do with the times we are in.

i agree.....and i'm asking Abba to just prompt me to slow down.....cuz these times we live in will have ya runnin like a hamster in a wheel...runnin real fast n' goin nowhere

Yup. The question to ask the Lord every day is, "What do you want me to do today? How can I serve you? What can I do to bless you?"

I miss you all. Everybody okay?

I am struggling and feel weary.. Ha.. even writing that makes me laugh.. just feel so bodily weary.. right to the soul I think.. been frustrated with myself and the house.. and not coping with the kids.. that sort of thing.. Ohhh why cannot be a perfect mother..

I did watch an awesome dvd just recently that I am going to place in our church library this weekend.. called Fire Proof.. Stars Kirk Cameron..

All about love and I guess you could call it tough love.. This is the small review I wrote for our weekly church magazine..


Awesome and moving story about the power of love and forgiveness. I couldn't help being moved by it because I know that I still have so much to learn about how to really love. It touched raw painful areas in my own heart but yet gave me a great motivation to press on and seek victory!


This story is about a husband and wife that go through problems facing most if not all couples today. They have lost that spark in their marriage and are looking in other places to find the answers. One day everything changes when the main character's father gives him a challenge called "The Love Dare" to help win his wife's heart back again.

I am sure what is shared in this movie will help not just couples but anyone who needs to find healing for relationships that have gone wrong and sour.
This story offers hope that we can move beyond feeling empty and powerless when communication breaks down. That we can find healing and move forward by looking beyond our own needs to those of others and finding so much more in the process!

Cindy - I'm here, just busy. This week is conference week which means the kids are in school only 1/2 days. Its put a crimp in my whole schedule.

I've been listening to some great A.A.Allen tapes I found free on-line. higherpraise.com Dozens of old TV shows. He was truly amazing and anointed.

ral, you're not the only one who hasn't been able to be here - I haven't been able to either! The past 4 days, Fri. - Mon. were non-stop. Today I'm trying to see to things here at home.

pc, I saw Fireproof! Hubby and I watched it last weekend, with our youngest. I find it interesting how blind we can be to our own selfishness, whether it is ours, or our spouse's. It takes a revelation from the Holy Spirit to open our eyes to how we really are. The wonderful thing about love is how happy we become when we start loving to that degree. Whether the love is returned or not, it still increases our joy.

Jesus explained that to us.
John 15:9 “I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. 10 When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. 11 I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! 12 This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you. 13 There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

Laying down our lives. Yes, there is a dying to self in this love. But guess what? When self is dead He lives in us and joy springs forth! Life spring forth!

I'm praying for you, my friends, to receive the grace of God to walk in the love that Jesus loves us with. That's His desire for us, and my aim.
