Hi RND:
Let’s try to remember that our focus is upon a correct interpretation of Daniel 9:24 . . .
Your statements lack any ‘context’ to Daniel 9:24 and anything that Daniel is talking about and anything that Christ is talking about in Matthew 24!!! Paul is describing the “mystery of iniquity” (2Thes. 2:7-12) that is ‘spiritual,’ but Daniel and Christ are talking about the “Beast” of Revelation 13 that Daniel sees as the evil ‘prince who is to come’ (Dan. 9:26) that Paul also refers to as the “son of destruction.” 2Thes. 2:3-4. I agree with you fully that a literal ‘antichrist’ never appears ‘physically’ during this current 2000 Year Mystery Time (in red), but he does come literally “IN HIS TIME” (2Thes. 2:6) very near the END of the Age (Matt. 24:15) that is still 1000 years IN THE FUTURE. Your problem is that Daniel is talking about the END of the Age (like Christ) and those events ‘do’ include the literal coming of the literal antichrist/beast.
The fact that there are many ‘sons of disobedience’ (Eph. 2:2) running around as the members of antichrist’s body has NOTHING to do with the literal antichrist coming very near the END of the Age about 1000 years from today. Where is your explanation for Paul’s ‘son of destruction’ that comes to the same Temple (2Thes. 2:3-4) in Matthew 24 to set up his abomination of desolation? :0) What about the ‘beast’ of Rev. 13 that represents the SAME PERSON? RND days "What son of destruction/beast"??? :0)
So what? God and Ezekiel agree that “David” (Eze. 34:23-25) is sitting on an earthly throne. You are running with the “MANY,” when Christ says to join the ‘few.’ Matthew 7:13-14, Luke 13:23-25.
Sure he is! Right here:

You run around replacing “David” with anything you wish, then turn right around and make these silly claims. :0)
Matthew Henry is also numbered among the MANY with just as much right to be wrong as you. Jeremiah says,

This prophecy is fulfilled for David to THEN become ‘king’ in Ezekiel 37:24-28 (diagram = lower left) only ‘after’ the resurrection of Ezekiel 37:11-12 that coincides with the Second Resurrection and Judgment of Revelation 20:11-15. David’s ‘first’ installation as prince (Eze. 34 above) STARTED the 1000 Year Day of the Lord (in blue) that is only now about to begin. That is the reason you have ‘two’ installations of David as prince and king in the first place. :0)
No sir. The Lord God says “David,” because the man installed as prince and king is “David.” Period. If you are going to take scissors and remove David’s name to insert anything you wish, then the MANY can make God’s Word say anything. The sad fact for ‘your’ side of this debate is that Scripture agrees 100 percent with me. :0)
Bullony! Christ prophesies about Elijah’s return to restore all things (Matt. 17:10-11) AFTER John dies in Matthew 14:10. Then Peter says the very same thing in Acts 3:19-26 about the “prophet” raised up from among the brethren. Christ put the restoration of the kingdom of Israel on hold, until the ‘times and epochs’ (Acts 1:6-7) period that Paul prophesies about in 1Thes. 5:1-2 that has YET to even BEGIN. Satan is still the ‘god of this world’ (2Cor. 4:3-4) and the Temple (Eze. 40) and coming Kingdom (Eze. 47-48) have yet to be restored, which is only a microscopic portion of ‘all things.’ Beyond that, if anyone here is foolish enough to follow in your error, then weak and unstable are worthy of the same fate. 2Peter 3:14-16. That's right. The antichrist is a spirit that infects the believer and the church . . .

1Jo 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

Every Christian commentary that one could site reveals this passage as referring to Jesus Christ, not David.
So what? God and Ezekiel agree that “David” (Eze. 34:23-25) is sitting on an earthly throne. You are running with the “MANY,” when Christ says to join the ‘few.’ Matthew 7:13-14, Luke 13:23-25.
David never is referred to as a shepherd....not once. David never referred to himself as a shepherd....not once.
Sure he is! Right here:

"Then I will set over them one shepherd, My servant David, and he will feed them; he will feed them himself and be their shepherd. "And I, the Lord [Christ], will be their God [Heb. 1:8], and My servant David will be prince among them; I the Lord [Christ] have spoken. I will make a covenant of peace with them [Heb. 8:8-12] and eliminate harmful beasts from the land so that they may live securely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods." Ezekiel 34:23-25.
You run around replacing “David” with anything you wish, then turn right around and make these silly claims. :0)
Don't wanna take my word for it? So be it. How about Matthew Henry?
Matthew Henry is also numbered among the MANY with just as much right to be wrong as you. Jeremiah says,

'Alas! for that day is great, There is none like it; And it is the time of Jacob's distress, But he will be saved from it. It shall come about on that day,' declares the Lord of hosts (Christ), 'that I will break his yoke from off their neck and will tear off their bonds; and strangers will no longer make them their slaves. But they shall serve the Lord their God [Christ] and David their king, whom I will raise up for them." Jeremiah 30:7-9.
Only a truly blind man would insist that Ezeliel 34:23:25 is referring to David.
Jesus Christ has restored all things. Elijah (John) was to come and pave the way.
Bullony! Christ prophesies about Elijah’s return to restore all things (Matt. 17:10-11) AFTER John dies in Matthew 14:10.
