First, the word "Random" is like "hot" or "cold", in that it only really means something in relation to something else.

Obviously, evolution isn't statistically random. But it's by no means certain how it will turn out.

Random mutations are very much random.

Natural selection is not very random.

Both of them are the major aspects that define Evolution - So don't know what to say about this really.

What do you mean by random? If your asking if it is 100% random, then no it is not.

I would imagine it is, by some twist of fate the stronger may have been defeated by the weaker and such. One can only wonder where it'll go.

There are other elements of randomness besides mutations. Which gametes fertilize is random, and crossing-over is fairly random as well. So there are several sources of randomness in the process, but natural selection trumps that and smooths the randomness.

Some mechanisms are random, some are not. Loaded questions are fail.

As others have said, it has random elements, but the overall process isn't something I would call random. Unguided, yes, but not random.
