Charis kai Dunamis
χάρις καὶ δύναμις
The crime of suicide is completed at the moment of death. Thus, by definition, it is impossible to repent of suicide. A person will meet God not having repented of this sin.
I am definitely not trying to turn this into debate...but I am not about to sit here and let someone tell you this. If your brother had faith in Christ, it will be reckoned as righteousness to Him. The matter of Him being baptized is of no importance, because it is a work, and we are saved apart from works of the law, as Abraham was saved because of his faith. On the other hand, works are an evidence of salvation, therefore his baptism could be looked at as a proof. His symbolic baptism is not the determining point though, it is whether He was baptized with the Holy Spirit. Just as the scriptures and others have said, there is no way to know the heart of any man. Only God can judge.
You can:
1. Still have hope.
2. Learn from his mistake. Although we all long to depart from the body and be present with the Lord, we have duties to fulfill here as representatives of Christ. Endure this lifetime as an obedience to God, as well as with obedience to God.
