25And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. 26She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. 27When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, 28because she thought, "If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed." 29Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.
'If I can just reach out and touch Jesus I will be healed', she said.
She knew who Jesus was, The Lord who heals us Exodus 23:25, Ps 103:3. Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today and forever Heb 13:8. He shows no favoritism (Romans 2:11). If he healls one he will heal another.
She had faith to reach out and touch Jesus, pushing through the crowd, she reached out and received her miracle. The greek word 'lambano' means to take, grasp or receive. It is not passive. Likewise you need to grasp your miracle. Jesus Said 'Nothing is impossible for those who believe' Mark 9:43
'He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering'.
Without faith it is impossible to receive from God, but with even a tiny bit of faith like a mustard seed and the knowledge of who Jesus is then you can have your breakthrough. A seed is small but the tree is large.
So, you can have faith to expect your breakthrough tonight. Do not be afraid. Believe in Jesus. trust in his promises to you. He cares for you.
Do not seek after healing, seek the Healer: The Lord Jesus Christ who healed all who came to him.
