Your God, where is He?

The serious answer? What do you mean "where"? Do you mean "why hasn't He made you not angry"? Do you mean "why hasn't He fixed the things that you're angry about?" Please clarify your question a bit.

Well, you won't find Him as long as He is still only my God. You will have to make Him your own. And the purpose for finding God is not to make your life better, but to make you better able to live life. If my own life is any indication, you will still have trouble long after you find Him.

Nevertheless, He is a comfort to me, even when I am angry and in the same situation emotionally that you are in. It's ok, I think, to be angry, or frustrated even, with God. Just don't let it drive you away from Him. If you're going to place blame on someone for something, place it on the obvious sources. Who is doing you wrong? That's your problem, not God.

There isn't much practical help I can give you from over the internet, and I am very, very sorry for that. I can only imagine whatever it is that is eating at you. I wish I knew something more comforting to say.

Sorry, but I'm only human. I can't read between the lines. Talk about your problems; share them with us. Know, if nothing else, that we care. What are you angry about? Has God disappointed you?

Is it family problems? Friends? School? What is it, we need some info. We can't really help you if you don't tell us what's wrong.

"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him and he with me."

He is there, waiting for you to open the door. He will come in and give you peace, fulfillment, happiness and love. All you have to do is answer Him.

In all seriousness... He's sitting right next to you waiting for you to acknowledge Him. And not that you haven't... I don't know your situation... but I guarantee that He hasn't left you. God would never leave you. You need to figure out what it is that is making you angry. Is it other people? Is it school? Is it a job? What? When you know that try to figure out what it is exactly about it that angers you. If you can figure that out then let God know that you are struggling with it He will gladly help you out. But if you don't know what it is then He can't do anything. I'm not trying to come down on you at all... just saying that He isn't just going to fix every part of your life because He knows that something is upsetting you. You need to realize it too and tell Him about it. I'll be praying for you...

I agree with Shane, MAKE HIM YOUR GOD. Why should someone referred to as my God help you. A prayer on this board is not a quick fix to all your problems, but it is a start. You need to recognize the root of your problems, and start fixing them there. Ask God for guidance and strenght, but first ask him to come into your heart, and forgive you of your sins. Let him direct your paths, but you have to walk those paths, and stay on them. God Bless You

He is there, with you. You are just too depressed to see Him.

Please go to a doctor. The doctor can treat you and make you stop doubting God.

With God all things are possible...I will pray for you and your mother. It says in the Bible to pray for those that persecute you, bless those that curse you...So pray for God to bless your mother, and in doing so, He will bless you and your life. Forgive her her wrongs, and He will forgive you yours. Here is a verse that always helps me -

Isaiah 40:31
"But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint"

Meditate and think on this verse, write it upon your heart...God will come and be with you...

brenda, I know you may have a difficult time with this answer and may even become angry at me for it. But I must say the truth.
Although, you do not see the things and works of God all around you, He is there. He loves you.
You will not find the happiness you seek until you become thankful everyday for everything, and I mean
everything he has put into your life. Then and only then will you begin to see Him and understand His ways.
Then and only then, will you begin to discover how simple and easy it is to be happy.
