    Faith and Salvation

That's exactly what I was originally thinking, but I had put it into different words just to see if anyone could catch my original thought.. hehe.. thanks for the feedback I'm rarely on the forum, but I'm thinking of occasionally dropping a thought or question here for discussion to see other...

    Faith and Salvation

A thought popped into my head and I'm not really to sure what to think of it, so I was wondering what you all think. Could you tell me if this is a biblically accurate statement (also share comments) "Our belief in Jesus wouldn't save us if God hadn't given Him to us"

Salvation is 100% God's doing, being lost is 100% our doing

An interesting observation I've noticed is that there's always the temptation to doubt in one's assurance of salvation whether if you're calvanist or arminion, here's why: A calvinist may doubt whether or not he or she is elect. An arminianist may doubt his perseverance Just seems both camps...

Salvation is 100% God's doing, being lost is 100% our doing

You're right, to be in Adam is to be condemned, but to be in Christ is to be saved. Nope, I don't mean you can lose your salvation because there's nothing you do can change who you are in Christ. Salvation isn't about doing, it's about being. It's your identity. Hmmm... Everything I said...

Salvation is 100% God's doing, being lost is 100% our doing

I've been having this interesting thought in my mind as a response to calvinism and I was wondering what you guys think. Basically the idea is that salvation is 100% what God does, even choosing salvation is His doing because literally every good gift comes from Him. But to be lost is 100%...

Why does the resentment always come back?

Let me give you the context. I was recently diagnosed with autism, so it might explain why I was feeling so scared and confused in the following situation: A little over two years ago, I made the dumb mistake of Facebook messaging the brother of a girl at my church (this brother is actually...

Is it ethical for a Christian to make money doing gaming videos on youtube?

I see your point, it depends if that's my weak area in life that could take my focus away from God (which I've already mentioned having). Come to think of it, I tend to have focus problems with anything in general though, even when doing obviously religious activity (like attending church)...

Is it ethical for a Christian to make money doing gaming videos on youtube?

Personally, I wouldn't feel comfortable making money from doing gaming videos because I'm addicted to gaming and it would feel wrong to make money from doing something that might make another person stumble into gaming addiction (even though it might not be the majority of the viewers). Any...

    Low Testosterone

Low testosterone can also be caused by either Kallmann Syndrome or Klinefelters, but those conditions also include having "tiny stuff" if you know what I mean. I know because I have Hypogonadism. Testosterone replacement therapy didn't work for me and I also ended up with concentration problems...

Trouble going beyond mental assent without seeming narrow minded

Yeah, I figured it would be hard to get some advice other than try to remember (whenever I can remember) to pray to get through my struggles and hope that I find what God's will is for my life (who knows, maybe a miracle will happen in which God helps me learn how to better witness to people...

Trouble going beyond mental assent without seeming narrow minded

I've been procrastinating to write this post because I wanted to wait until I got my fall semester in college over with so I can really focus on explaining my seemingly complex situation. I'm sorry this post will have to be a little long because I feel that it's necessary in order to explain...

Raised a Christian and still don't know how to pray

Interestingly, as I was writing this post, the hymn "day by day" came to mind... looks like I was praying for help praying and God already answered! yay  I'm thinking I probably should start getting into music, that'll help clear my head from fogginess, calm me down, then I can really...

Raised a Christian and still don't know how to pray

I've read alot about prayer in the bible, but I just can't seem to be able to come up with my own prayers. I heard some use the the acronym ACTS to remember adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication, but I still find that hard to do for more than a minute. I tend to start out saying...
