My mom is always bugging me that i dont play board games enough

There'll be days where you can't pull me away from my ps2. But not when there's other people around. Board games stimulate a different part of the brain than video games. Monopoly and those kind of games I personally don't care for. I love Trivial Pursuit, Boggle, Clue, Apples to Apples...

    anniversary coming up

my wife and I are geeks. We love going to the museum of science and nature, going to the planetarium or the IMAX. If there's an event going on like say....international car show (another favorite of my wife and I), that's always fun. Or check around to see if there's a farmer nearby who runs...

yeah, I bought my wife a star too. She loved it. My wife always talks about our first (dating) anniversary. It started off with breakfast (at her parents place), then I surprised her and took her out of the city for a tour of a country art gallery. Then I took her to a greenhouse and bought...

I'm not implying that it's an evil monopoly. It's just not a good monopoly. Google works. http://www.psych.upenn.edu/~mims/FUNNY/GM_Microsoft.html

Will Unix operating systems erase the M$ Windows monopoly someday?

It's taken so long for the general public so long to figure out how to use windoze they're too afraid to learn something else. I think the 95% will drop to about 60% in the future.

    Gran Turismo 3

Great game. When I got it almost 2 years ago I boarded up the windows and locked myself in for weeks with only the pizza guy comin around every 10 hours or so to check on me and deliver the goods. It's one of those games where you play it straight for weeks until you finish it or can go no...

Bill Gates did time...(every mac users dream come true)

I read this in an article at macworld.com http://maccentral.macworld.com/news/2001/05/07/microsoft/ 'What about Bill Gates, how does he feel about the Mac? We've all read that Gates likes the Mac, but Browne says it's true. "Bill Gates, by the way, is a huge Mac fan..."' I guess I...

anyone hear about Mel Gibsons movie about Christ?

He's making a film in aramaic about the last 12 hours of Christ's life. He is adamant that it adhere to the bible, and not be twisted around to fit someone elses POV (ie. "Scorcese's Last Tempation of Christ"). He accounts for a change in a lot of the filmakers lives and even a few miracles...
