  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

What is your view of the end times?

True. The early church had a rather odd view of things. I would say your view fits best within idealism as it is not truly concerned with individual apocalyptic expectations but rather the overall battle of good and evil and living our Christian lives while improving the world around us.

What is your view of the end times?

For my youtube channel, I was looking to gather some information about how the majority of Christians view the end times. so I wanted to create this poll. Here are what the choices mean for the unaware: Futurism: Most of Bible prophecy has not been fulfilled yet and will be in the last days...

Messianic Jewish resources on Bible prophecy

Shabbat shalom. My friend and I are doing a study on Bible prophecy, particularly the four major views on eschatology: preterism, futurism, historicism, and idealism. I was wondering if there were any Messianic Jewish resources on the topic of Bible prophecy, Revelation, Daniel, etc. I want to...

    When to PUC yesterday

How was the experience? What type of questions did you ask of Wilson and George Knight?

    A very quiet forum

It is rather strange how quiet this area has become. I remember back in the day when it was just one huge Adventist forum, there was a battle everyday. I suppose that has been taken to spectrum haha.

    What's your opinion on this?

No one has found a direct causation between violent video games and violence. The kid was obviously disturbed. The video game is not the problem the mental illness the kid had is the issue.

What To Do About certain "Orthodox" FB group

You know I was going to ask a genuine question about how one interested in Eastern Orthodoxy might learn a bit more. Than I saw this thread and decided against it. Honestally the rightist fear is thick in this thread. rusmeister and Katherine made good points however.

Finally, something we can all agree upon!

As soon as one is made I shall! Oddly enough Chick has actually written positively about Eastern Orthodoxy in one of his anti Catholic tracts lol.

Finally, something we can all agree upon!

Jack Chick shall be elected leader of General Theology. His word shall be law, and he shall start by removing the accursed Dungeons and Dragons from General Theology. From there, we shall have complete theological orthodoxy! Every dissenting thread will be replied with a logical tract that...

    Church and State

Because Jesus totally wanted us to control and dominate other groups. He clearly wanted his followers to rule the Roman Empire.

    Church and State

When you mix Church with politics horrendous things happen. Power corrupts. We have seen this happen with church leaders who became more interested in gaining political influence than following God. Separation of church and state is good because it allows a free marketplace of ideas. If...

The Greatest Error of the Church

Because Jesus needs a General Tilly or Isabela to protect true Christianity(tm) from the evils of the crazy Protestants and other religions. Resisting injustice is good as well as standing up to tyranny but God isn't so impotent that everything will fall apart if we don't engage in holy...

What about *your* faith, is going to shock people, when Jesus returns?

I think the idea of our faith being more shocking than the appearance of Jesus is a rather arrogant idea.

The Greatest Error of the Church

Without a big organization telling me how to think I am lost! You Catholics are like the Egpytians blindly following your Pharoh and unable to exist without your traditions and organization to tell you what to do. Not to mention the sun worship!(this isn't my belief but this type of diatribe is...

The Greatest Error of the Church

I follow the age old traditions of Jack Chick where there is a demon behind everything I don't like.
