Seems to me that according to the bible, if you form a household, make a commitment, and live like a husband and wife... biblically you're married. I'm not sure God's going to listen to the defense, "yeah, but we didn't sign a government paper."

I would not be hinging my position on typical post-reformation sola scriptura. And Christus, I guess you could say I've had a bit of a conversion experience... I'll call myself a Western Unorthodox Christian now lol ;)

I'll be taking the position that Christianity is true. I'd like the most intelligent, most highly-qualified non-believer to debate me on the issue. Whoever debates me should know that I may not take orthodox positions in many cases, but I will be well-reasoned with them and supply ample support...

Well there's always the chance. But as far as probabilities go, it is highly unlikely. That doesn't mean there's a religious answer, and it doesn't completely rule out hallucinations. But it's enough to give me pause and consider.

If your personal hunch is the ultimate truth of the cosmos, I would indeed be surprised. I'm hoping for something more amazing. =)
