  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yes, because David - the shepherd boy - was watching sheep in Antarctica.

What's that got to do with "be still, and know that I am God" not talking about Flat Earth?

No your getting mixed up with the shepherds who were watching their flock at Jesus's birth.

Only on a calm day. Weather conditions in Antarctica vary considerably.

And you don't ?
No, I don't know. But I have no reason to believe they would lie.
Neither do you; that's the point.

I doubt you even know ONE person who is/has been employed by NASA. If you did, you would have an idea of how long they'd trained to get to where they are; their qualifications and so on.
Your massive generalisations are as ridiculous as saying, "all Scottish people are mean", "all Americans eat hamburgers". "Don't trust the Germans" and so on. If you said any of those, as a serious comment, you'd be in trouble.

And really science will not even recognize that it is a creation.
What Created the Earth? - The Institute for Environmental Research and Education
The Earth was not created by divine intervention, but rather by a complex and beautiful process of accretion within a swirling cloud of gas and dust left over from the supernova of a long-dead star, roughly 4.54 billion years ago. Gravity, the universe’s patient architect, meticulously gathered these remnants, sculpting them into the planet we call home.
And this is poetic language masquerading as science. Science (as I've repeated before) is the study of the world around us - it does not have views or give moral explanations. Scientists, are people, some believe in God, many do not. The above statement is the view of some scientists,

Both Atheists and many Christians make the same mistake in asking 'was the universe created by God or by evolution?' This is like asking whether that beautiful paining was created by the artist or a paintbrush. God and evolution are not equivalents and so are not alternatives. The question should be 'was the universe created by God or by nothing?' Evolution is a process, not an alternative to God.

An analogy might be a book. Did the award winning gifted author write the book or was it produced on an advanced high speed state of the art printing press? You can have arguments over the authorship or interesting discussions on the technology used to print the book, but please do not confuse a printing press with the author.

Likewise, do not confuse God (creative agent) with evolution (a process).

The fact that you keep reposting that list of 200 verses every few months despite it being thoroughly debunked, strongly suggests the onset of dementia.

There maybe new people on here who haven't seen it, so no I do not have dementia.

You may think this is rather strange but it is the truth you'll be surprised to hear.

So the psalmist went to Antarctica in you view?

So now are you saying that David was not a shepherd?

But neither have you answered the questions we've asked or responded to the "debunks". Which suggests, to me, that you can't.

I must admit, the first couple of times you posted it I ignored it. But then I started looking up some of the references.
The thing's a joke and the person who produced it should be embarrassed that it just shows their inability to read Scripture and argue logically.

I'm not saying one way or the other, but in my mother's case, she was unable to understand that she had dementia.
It's not just the memory that goes, but the inability to understand, reason and so on.
