I’m still waiting for some sort of scientific or Biblical proof the earth is flat. If it is Biblical, then it must follow proper hermeneutics. If it is scientific, it has to be better than the tricks shown in previous videos.

Yes and atheist are waiting for proof there is a God. The proof is there it is just a matter people believing what The Bible states. If there was no proof (in The Bible) there would be no people saying The Bible's creation is not the same as what science states is the creation.

And really science will not even recognize that it is a creation.

You are deflecting. I take offense that you are accusing me of not believing in God the creator of all things. I truly believe that God created the heavens and the earth just like Genesis states. I agree with what Strong in Him stated in #1950 and #1951. I do not agree that the earth is flat. I want you to actually give proof scriptural or scientifically.

When looking at the moon in the sky and you actually believe you are looking at the moon that is 200,000+ miles away from earth. Out in the blackness of outer space, then there is no proof that will convince you other wise.

You have posted that list many times and each time, I, or somebody else, has pointed out that most of the headings in the list do not mention the shape of the earth. For example, "Earth Created Before the Sun," "Universe is Complete," "Creation Worshippers" - none of those say anything about the earth's shape, nor do most of the Scripture verses listed.

Nathan Roberts is certainly quite a character, and it is an impressive list, but it doesn’t hold up to analysis.

None of the verses actually say the earth is flat, which is even more apparent if you look at the original languages. Nathan Roberts is using a literary trick that copywriters have been using for years.

"Be still and know that I am God" does not mention the shape of the earth, nor is it anything to do with it.

And "the earth has corners" contradicts your own statement that the "4 corners of the earth" are allegory.

It is hard to explain if you haven’t studied the technique. A simplified version would be something like this: You buy a bottle of shampoo. It has a pretty lady on it that is smiling with nice hair. The bottle never says it will make you pretty, but it is implied in the packaging. However, it does say it will clean your hair. Roberts is giving verses that are truthful, but he is making the implication is that they support the flat earth. The reader makes the connection that the author of the verses never made. One is lead into a conclusion that is not implicit in the text.

I made no implication that he is not a Christian. By saying he is a character, I was translating in my mind the Polish saying that “he is a number.” It is not bad or good, it just means he is unusual.

And the fact that you purchased some of these Flat Earth cards and handed them out, proves nothing - except that you don't always check your sources before you pass them onto others.

"creation worshippers",
"Be still and know that I am God",
"everyone sees Jesus",
and others do not even mention, never mind prove, the shape of the earth.

2. "Matthews Bible mentions flat earth" is a completely ridiculous statement. The reference given is 2 Samuel 11:11. This verse is in the middle of a passage about David and Bathsheba. Bathsheba's husband was telling David that he was not going to go home and seduce his wife while his men were fighting a war. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the shape of the earth. Putting that on a poster titled "200 Flat earth verses" is an embarrassment to whoever designed the poster.

3. "The earth has ends", contradicts your verse from Isaiah which you insist says the earth is a circle. Ditto, "the earth has corners".

4. "earth has pillars and hangs on nothing" contradicts your statement from another thread that the foundations are rooted in the underworld.

This is only a few of the problems. The biggest being that all verses are taken out of context so that the Bible is made to say whatever the author of the poster wants it to say.
I've no doubt this guy is a born again Christian - the shape of the earth doesn't affect that. I highly doubt he knows how to read the Bible.

It is just like you can see that the shampoo will make you pretty. You are seeing what you want to see. You distrust science and the establishment, which you should, but it encourages you to distrust the truth from science and the establishment. One of the most common lies is “I'm from the government, and I’m here to help you.” I find this to be often the case. However, the government actually came to our farm and helped. You should take things piece by piece, and not paint with a broad brush. They lied about the Covid vaccine, but it doesn’t mean they lied about the moon landing.
