• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

They were just copying Hagia Sophia after they turned it into a mosque.

Oh, Lord, but she posted the pictures and I actually forgot that one of the main principle things of the Tartarian load of bull is that any grand building, either in the Old World or New World, had no way of being built by anyone else except this long lost, forgotten civilization. Surely they couldn't have been built by the people who lived there. Surely not!

And she's from Wales like me! A nation within a nation with a strong history of castle building along with cathedrals! Oh, it's horrible! Horrid!

If you do not like a thread and what the thread starter is opening for discussing. Why even post especially something that has absolutely noting to do with what is being discussed.

Because this thread cannot be taken seriously and the general idea does soundly deserve to be ridiculed.

What's amazing is your lack of knowledge and your lack of desire to actually learn...

It's the forum rules that stop me responding to this as how it really ought to be responded to.

But you do have a serious lack of a knowledge and an equally serious lack of a desire to learn. And that is sad on so many levels.

Her response to your post is no less imbecilic.

We live on a slowly rotating globe (takes 24 hours for 1 rotation) which takes an entire 365 days to orbit the sun.

Honestly, we have made it more than clear that "spinning ball" is a gross misrepresentation of the globe earth position. If you continue to use that expression I'm going to start reporting your posts as deliberate trolling. I suggest you start acting like an adult.

When has that ever been the case? Must be a huge waste of money to ever advertise anything ever if there is more profit in something that no one knows anything about.

Sigh.
IP (Intellectual Property) is more precious than you realize. If a tech give you a capability nobody else has, you can sell that capability instead as a service while maintaining the use of such tech in secret. You maintain full control of your IP.

Such use eliminates competition, eliminates cheap knock-offs. You'll have far greater freedom you can set your price.

I've worked data analytics for retailers selling their own products (including big brands) most my life. Most of the unrealized sales is attributed to cheap Chinese knockoffs and you can't beat the manufacturing capacity of China. Not yet anyway. And because of competition, the profit margins are kept small. All these factors result to high sensitivity to market fluctuations which is bad. Many big retailers go bankrupt and they're not run by stupid people. Retailing is just difficult and Trump is making things even harder.

I don't possess any game-changing tech yet. But if I had, the growth projections can't ever be matched by retailing even if everything went right with retailing.

Think about it, what would these companies gain if people were to receive free energy say 'tomorrow'.
They'd all go bust overnight.
There is no such thing as free energy.

There could have been if Tesla's had gotten his own way.

You obviously didn't watch or understand the video. There was no free energy. Tesla believed you could transmit energy without wires, but someone still needed to generate the electricity before it could be transmitted.
So much fail.

Tesla’s long-held dream was to create a source of inexhaustible, clean energy that was free for everyone. He strongly opposed centralised coal-fired power stations that spewed carbon dioxide into the air that humans breathed.

He believed that the Earth had “fluid electrical charges” running beneath its surface, that when interrupted by a series of electrical discharges at repeated set intervals, would generate a limitless power supply by generating immense low-frequency electrical waves.

One of Tesla’s most extraordinary experiments was to transmit electrical power over long distances without wires or cables — a feat that has baffled scientists ever since.

His grand vision was to free humankind from the burdens of extracting, pumping, transporting, and burning fossil fuels — which he viewed as “sinful waste”.

How does ‘without wires’ mean free energy? I don’t think you understand the concept of free energy and why it is impossible.
