It wasn't exactly "embraced" considering that it was considered so ridiculous that simply seeing a male character in drag was considered high comedy. The joke was that it was patently absurd.

It's okay to be honest with school kids. There is no excuse for these kids to bully those they don't understand.

You can teach kids that without introducing them to lgbt issues. Its not like we don't have any other differences to point out. This isn't about teaching kids to be nice. Its about indoctrinating kids with lgbt is great and its okay to indulge in it.

Not indoctrinating kids is not the same thing as hiding it. There is no reason to discuss it with them. Why is it necessary? The educational system is not just acknowledging its existence, ir is also making a moral statement that it is good and normal.

With trans issues that is dangerous for kids.

For all the scare tactics, the training materials appear to be about how teachers should deal with issues professionally, not about curriculum to be taught to students.

But yes, if a kid's teacher is trans, they will face this issue.

The tenets of Christianity are de facto moral and ethical tenets for me but I don’t push them on anyone. I would expect the LGBTQ tenets to not be pushed on me.
