It is a miracle. God did not create the sun to go back and forth. God created the earth to rotate on its axis every 24 hours to define the day and the night (Gen. 1) and to orbit the sun every 365 days to define a year. This is fully proven and absolute truth with no chance to argue against it.

But it’s a contradiction in your claims. You have clearly said in the past that the sun doesn’t go down, it just gets further away. That’s NOT what the Bible says. So you’re changing what the Bible says to suit yourself.

People who know the earth is a globe have no problem with the Bible using phenomenological language. But flat earthers just make fools of themselves trying to claim it, because there is no rule as to what is to be taken literally and what isn’t.

So why do you take one part of Joshua 10:12-14 literal and another not?

Why do you hold us to account for not taking the Bible literally when you don’t hold yourself to account for doing the same thing?

It’s observational language which in no way calls God a liar. Do you know what observational language is? You are the one calling God a liar by interpreting His inspired words outside of His creation.

You have said that the sun doesn't really rise and set, but only appears to do so. However, the bible often refers to the rising and setting of the sun, for example in this verse:

“At evening, when the sun had set, they brought to Him all who were sick and those who were demon-possessed.” (Mr 1:32 NKJV) (my emphasis)

Yet you still maintain that the sun only appears to set. Why, in that case, could your verse which talks of the sun stopping be similar, not refer to how it appeared to Joshua and others?

Just because the word "miracle" is not mentioned, that doesn't men it wasn't one. The descriptions of many of the miracles of Jesus don't include the word "miracle" either. For instance:

“10 “But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins” —He said to the paralytic, 11 “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” 12 Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”” (Mr 2:10-12 NKJV)

That is not the same thing at all. Although the word "miracle" isn't always used in the description of individual miracles, we are told that Jesus worked miracles:

““Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know—” (Ac 2:22 NKJV) (my emphasis)

Neither I nor anybody else (as far as I know) has ever claimed that the bible teaches that the earth is a globe. Repeatedly, I and others have said that the bible does not tell us the shape of the earth.
