  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Clinic offering abortions beyond viability for 'any reason' is 'disappointing, but not surprising': pro-lifers

Former staffers at abortionist Warren Hern’s shuttered Boulder Abortion Clinic, which was renowned for performing third-trimester abortions, have launched a new facility that will perform abortions beyond the point of viability, for “any reason.”

RISE Collective, which stands for "Reproductive Health, Inclusive Care, Support and Empowerment," released a promotional video earlier this month, announcing that the clinic has started seeing clients and scheduling late-term abortions.

“At RISE Collective, we believe that any reason you have for needing abortion care is yours, and it is the right one,” the video states. “In Colorado, there are no restrictions on when you can receive care. But while the law is clear, access is not.”

This is precisely why overturning Roe vs Wade was a very bad idea. Both maternal and abortion deaths have risen substantially. But no one is talking about this. Are they?
The reversal of Roe v. Wade has created a fractured US, with some states like Colorado protecting abortion access, and others like Texas and Alabama enforcing near-total bans.
Contrary to the expected decline, the national number of abortions has soared by over 11% since 2020 (the latest comprehensive pre-Dobbs data), and the increase is closer to 20% in the two full years post-Dobbs, reaching the highest recorded level in over a decade! Meanwhile, in the states with bans, this has caused a public health crisis. Maternal and infant mortality rates are rising in states with bans, disproportionately affecting Black women. These laws are directly associated with a higher risk of death for mothers and infants and are causing dangerous delays in essential medical care for life-threatening pregnancy complications.

Lets us reason. There must be a better way.

Be blessed.

I’m no scholar, but I’m pretty sure RBG even thought Roe v Wade was a bad law.

I think the only way to really heal our nation is return to God and holy marriage. The nuclear family. The sex obsessed culture needs to end.

Peace

It is always there ( obsession with sex) no matter what generation. The good thing about this generation, we can see what is happening and guild them to a better way, genuinely. In the past, it was all hidden which is far worse.
Thanks for sharing.
