Thank you . . . so, do you think Ukraine is a democracy? . . . I mean a **functional** democracy, versus certain ones with money and power controlling who the candidates are . . . like could be happening in the United States which claims to be democratic but does not seem to manage to provide qualified candidates and qualified voters.

I did not intend to make any statement about the Ukraine's constitution. It seemed possible to me, that Charlie meant that, because there has been so much corruption in Ukraine, the country has not been a democracy . . . functionally.

It's like how ones can claim to be Christians but they do not live that way.

A lot of it comes down to a sense of tribalism, where even if there are things we disagree with about him and how he conducted himself he's part of our tribe and you don't criticize your tribe in a war. Most Christians fall prey to a win-or-lose mentality in whether or not Christianity is growing or shrinking, whether church attendance is ballooning or shrinking. The attitude is if someone can score a win for our team, who are we to criticize them? Revival at any cost, even if it means losing sight of Christ the crucified Lord and replacing Him with 'Murica Jesus the conquistador. Charlie Kirk will stand or fall depending on who his true master was, but it's perilous times for Christians right now. And the danger isn't from the godless left.
