Maybe if they instead had broke into the capitol and smeared their feces on the walls while fighting with police you’d feel more comfortable? Seems to be more your type of protest.

Which is all I honestly think protesting does. But they managed to avoid killing anyone even if they didn't avoid the threats so I give them kudos.

I just think it's kinda funny myself since we already have an official no kings day, and it's not paid for by communists and socialists who definitely seek the power of kings.

I'll definitely keep our freedoms myself, and celebrate no kings day on the 4th of July.

I mean, technically you are right. But usually protests involve actual decisions and actionable policies. Like, "Vote no on this legislation," or "release this prisoner." But what was the message from the rally? Many people in the rally did not even know. There is so much video footage of people going through a hard software reboot because they were asked simple questions like, "If Trump is a fascist dictator, how are you able to protest right now?"

The message is that a working democracy by way of our Constitutional Republuc bothers them. The march was funded by communists so it makes sense that they don't prefer our system of government.

They are protesting the election. They're mad they didn't win. Angry that law is being enforced.

Hard reboots are signs of something else, namely, they don't understand basic things about the American system of government. They might really be fully propagandized away from even understanding our Republican system.

Apparently no one knows even basic things like a person can be detained in jail without charges for up to 48 hours perfectly lawfully and other such basic facts.

It's this type of ignorance those politicians and communist groups are now exploiting.

In part yes...

But more too. It lets us know some basic understanding of the law is actually positive to teach.

That way people do know what is just fine for the cops to do and what constitutes a lawyer, though the advice is always get a lawyer anyway but I think it's good to know what the cops actually can do that way you know what can be expected out of various encounters.

It saves people from fright I think, because there's really nothing to be afraid of. There can be a bureaucratic process to any encounters, but they aren't inherently unsafe when you cooperate.

That mindset extends to everything concerning the law. They mainly don't have a grasp of the basics, such as what's a presidents role etc etc.
