  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

So I came across an interesting news article the other day, about this woman who had a near-death experience, whereby she saw her deceased ancestors and she also saw the future of her kids, and she also saw the future of this world. She said that during her near-death experience she had entered this alternative universe whereby the majority of the world had been wiped out by wars, and people ended up living a more simple life, and the people over there had lived more locally unlike how our current world had been living more globally, so the life in that universe is just like the olden days, whereby people would make a living through farming, and there will no longer be stuffs like migration anymore and everybody will coexist together peacefully in one place, but there will still be technology around and the world will still be linked by global thread, just that people will use these in a more peaceful way than now.

Is this really how the world will look like in future with a one-world government?

Her near-death experiences seems to align with what was written in the bible though, especially since she saw a one-world government which was predicted in the bible. And she also saw wars on a large scale, which was one of the stuffs predicted in the bible as well

Well actually, it doesn't line up with the Bible when you consider passages like "As it was in the days of Noah..." Matthew 24:38 or Luke 17:27 where judgment comes upon a world that's "unaware" that it's coming. There was no catastrophic "mass extinction event" that preceded the flood; thus I highly doubt a "mass extinction event' (like nuclear war) is going to precede the return of Christ.

Though it is plausible that there may be limited nuclear exchanges; (as those have already happened = i.e. the end of WWII). And how many people now has this human invented.... plandemic of the vaccinated killed? Global all cause mortality death rates are still considerably elevated particularly in heavily vaccinated countries. (They just don't tell you that; because they don't want you to know!) (Plagues in Revelation)

Also the notion of "one world government" as "applies" to a Scriptural concept; actually exists now. It's a "government" that runs the world through the current global national political apparatus. Some people refer to it as "the global cabal" or "the deep state". And the global economic system is all tied into this too. So if you're "looking for signs of the end"; they're all actually right in front of you hiding in plain sight.

Then there's the issue of self fulfilling "prophecy" in relation to eschatological narratives. Did you know that Shia Islamic (Iran) eschatology is very similar to Dispensationalism? And the "rebirth" of the Russian Orthodox church has taken on a national Russianistic political influence that has "attached" itself to the Russian government in much similar way as evangelical zionism plays a huge role in American politics. Then of course Israel has it's own eschatological belief system. And so does China. (I.E. The Chinese Communist Party believes they are going to rule the world.) Then... Hindu eschatology? I don't know enough about Hinduism to know what that would look like?

But reality has it now that we have several competing eschatological political narratives all in a "[bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]ing contest" to see who's "messiah" will take center stage. Thus people are waiting for some temple to built in Jerusalem and "7 years of anti-christ reign", "Mashiach" (modern Jewish political "messiah") or the mahdi (Islamic concept of "christ") to come on the scene. and yada yada yada.

Yet Scripture says that what is often referred to as "the great white throne judgement" is going to come upon the cosmos long before human invented eschatologies are predicting. Which tags on "premillennialism", "post millennialism" or "amillennialism" as also all being competing eschatology schemas.

Which ultimate moral of this story is = be prepared NOW because it's probably coming sooner than any of us think, and likely "before" what we all assume will be "put in place" will actually happen.

Jesus asks an interesting question in Luke 18:8 When He does return, will He find faith on the earth? (Good question Jesus; but You're the omniscient One, not me!)

That will be Paul's man of sin also known as the beast from the sea or in Daniel the king of the north and not the antichrist.

The antichrist (beast from the land) brings worship to the (image) of the man of sin/beast from the sea/king of the north.

Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

She is in a long line, probably the back of it, who has said the same thing about the future.

We should heed the advice of Jesus Christ of Nazareth:

Matthew 6:34
"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."

Blessings

According to the book of Revelation the final earthly power will be that of the unification of church and state (global) .... it will be a "false church" an persecution will happen .... a repeat of the dark ages (only worse) ... at some point the door to salvation will close and God will completely remove the Holy Spirit (this will be a very difficult time) but will be cut short .... Jesus will return and take all the saved to heaven for 1,000 years (1st resurrection) and things play out from there with God imposing final judgement on all the wicked (2nd resurrection) then God makes everything new and establishes His perfect kingdom and we live eternity in complete peace and harmony no sin ... for eternity.
