I did not say they were unworthy TO be a follower of Christ.
I said that AS a follower of Christ, that statement was unworthy of them - ie an awful thing for one of Christ's followers to have said.

Either way that's a horrible thing to say.

Yes & by this elevated angle they are able through trigonometry to work out the distant of the sun.

You need two angle measurements and a known distance between the sightings to use trigonometry. I've challenged JacksBratt and d taylor to collaborate since they both live in the USA. They can share their locations with each other which would give the known distance and the baseline for their angle measurements, then all they have to do is choose a time when they can both see the sun and measure the angle to the sun from the line linking their locations at the same time. They could then calculate and give their own independent distance to the sun. I know they won't do it because they know they won't like the answer they get.

Well I guess our evolutionary friends need the millions or billions of years for evolution theory to work. Without it evolution is a cooked chook i guess. Now you go from Genesis to the entire Bible : ) I think some 1600 hundred years all up. Beginning closely somewhere around where Hentenza quotes and finishing somewhere in the 1st century AD

But the argument still stands.
Just because a child may know how to work a mobile phone does not mean they can work out/understand that the moon landings were faked.
(They couldn't anyway because the moon landings happened.)

You just jumped in and told me that was a horrible thing to say - presumably without carefully reading the post I was replying to.
