The broke bread every day Acts 2:46 , doesn't say it removes God's sanctification or removes God's Sabbath commandment. Thats adding what clearly not thereWhat about
Acts 20:7 - “On the first day of the week we gathered to break bread.”
No where in this Text does it say day one is the Lords Day, That is adding to God's word Pro 30:5-6 I would consider not doing.Revelation 1:10 - “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day.” The term “Lord’s Day” refers to the day belonging to the Lord, that is, Sunday - the day of Christ’s resurrection.
God already told us His holy day and it is the holy day of the Lord, thus saith the Lord, so there is no other. The counterfeit always comes after the original do not let one cheat us Col2:8
Isa 58:13 “If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath,
From doing your pleasure on My holy day,
And call the Sabbath a delight,
The holy day of the Lord honorable,
And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways,
Nor finding your own pleasure,
Nor speaking your own words,
Exo 20:10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God.
Not in Scripture. What we were warned about Isa8:20The Didache (late 1st century):
“On the Lord’s own day, gather and break bread.”
Not in Scripture. What we were warned about Isa8:20Ignatius of Antioch (c. 107 AD):
“Those who have come to the possession of a new hope no longer observe the Sabbath, but live in observance of the Lord’s Day, on which also our life has sprung up again through Him.” (Letter to the Magnesians 9:1)
Not in Scripture. What we were warned about Isa8:20Justin Martyr (c. 150 AD):
“On the day called Sunday, all who live in cities or in the country gather together to one place… because it is the first day on which God made the world, and Jesus Christ our Savior rose from the dead.” (First Apology 67)
Your church admits it changed the Sabbath based on their authority over the word of God. Just as we were warned would happen Dan7:25
Q. Have you any other way of proving that the Church has power to institute festivals of precept?
A. Had she not such power, she could not have done that in which all modern religionists agree with her; —she could not have substituted the observance of Sunday the first day of the week, for the observance of Saturday the seventh day, a change for which there is no Scriptural authority.
—Rev. Stephen Keenan, A Doctrinal Catechism; New York in 1857, page 174
Question: Which is the Sabbath day?
Answer: Saturday is the Sabbath day.
Question: Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday?
Answer: We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday.
—Rev. Peter Geiermann C.SS.R., The Convert’s Catechism of Catholic Doctrine, p. 50
They even admit this act is a mark of their authority over God's
Of course the Catholic Church claims that the change was her act. And the act is a mark of her ecclesiastical power and authority in religious matters.
—C. F. Thomas, Chancellor of Cardinal Gibbons, in answer to a letter regarding the change of the Sabbath, November 11, 1895.
