No, they can't.
12 astronauts walked on the moon between 1969-1972. You don't believe that, but all that means is you don't believe that.
Prior to 1969, and since 1972 a couple of hundred rockets/satellites.space craft have been to, near or round the moon. If you don't believe that, it just means that you don't believe that.
Hundreds, if not thousands, of people have been involved in these missions which started in the late 1950's and are still going on. They've designed, built and tested rockets, invented memory foam, devices to help the astronauts communicate. etc etc. I have no doubt that you use/have used some of their inventions. But you don't believe that fact, NASA or Christian astronauts - which only means that you don't believe it.

But as you say, God's word talks about the sky being where birds fly. If space rockets are wrong, then so are hot-air balloons, aeroplanes, and helicopters. The bible doesn't mention the sea as being a place to swim or sail boats, but God's word mentions both without condemning such activities.

Not sure what you mean by "if space rockets are wrong'. Space rockets just simply are launched up and into the sky where they fly for 100"s to 1000's of miles then come back down or crash back down.
