The journey was a momentous one. They had been exposed to the tremendous acceleration of the rocket, as well as the stress of being in the public eye, and having various things they were expected to do, including talking to the US president, so it is hardly surprising that they looked rather washed-out afterwards. Think of a football team or a group of marathon runners before the match or race, and afterwards.

Well we did all just watch our Brisbane broncos and Brisbane lions win their grand finals. Though tired they were in absolute jubilation and ecstasy of happiness when they won and still be celebrating now. Unlike the moon lot : ) who supposedly walked on the moon. As I said they looked like death warmed up when they returned. As to chatting with the president they’d already done that chatting with the president in deep space from his royal telephone here on earth. How that happened I don’t know But as to christian Masonic Buzz he was quite happy carrying the Masonic flag on the Apollo flight

I have never watched that video. It is one of the multitude that Apple Sky has mentioned in her attempts to prove that the moon landings didn't happen.

Dave it’s a most interesting video it concerns a NASA reel accidentally no doubt given to a researcher by mistake which shows clearly the astronauts faking that they are some 130 thousand miles out in deep space when they are still in earths orbit. Why even fake such shots if you are supposedly on the way to the moon. Plenty of time to film the occasion when you be in deep space. As to Apple she does have the right to express her thoughts. The video is called ( A funny thing happened on the way to the moon ) . Not a strange thing happened on the way to the moon as me wrote prior . You do find the evidence at the 32nd minute mark if you choose not to watch the full video. Yours Kathleen.

The Van Allen belts posed no problem for traveling through them. Speed and shielding took care of the “problem”. Move on. Nothing to see here.

ETA: Never mind you are talking about the nasa scientist working on Orion. You are taking him out of context. When he says that the radiation is harmful he talking about electrical systems not people. There is more than enough shielding to protect the humans. The first trip of Orion is going to be unmanned to test the systems against the radiation. The ballistic speeds and shielding protect humans going through the belt just like it protected the astronauts back in the Apollo program and beyond.
