and the others had slogans from "furry" culture on them. One said "notices bulge, OwO, what's this?" (and from what I'm reading, the OwO is something that designates "feminine cuteness" in online anime communities?
I can't say I'm an aficionado of anime and "furries"...
I'm guessing perhaps it's that last one that perhaps made some law enforcement officials initially think was some sort of trans advocacy at play. If they looked it up on line and saw that "OwO" indicates feminine cuteness, with a "bulge" referenced, it's easy to how someone could reach that conclusion.
