  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Blameless in the Law

Does Yahshua call us to the impossible?

  • Yes. Only Yahshua can follow the example that he called us to follow.

  • No. Become imitators of me, according as I also am of Christ.

Man cannot justify himself. We fail when we try.

Jesus lived the perfect life that we cannot live. When we surrender to God's Holy Spirit, we receive Jesus' perfection through faith. If we allow God's Spirit to change us, it will teach us Love. As our love grows, we lose the desire to do things that will hurt others and our desire is to please God.

We haven't changed ourselves. God has.

The perfect life in obedience was live on our behalf to us who come to him in repentant faith to be reconciled and restored to God, that just judgment does not come on us with having Christ who bore it. This delivers us of the consequence of failure but does not deliver us from obeying God. And we do need God changing us, for that... that we will change. It is not over.

The only way to live as God calls us to, is to stop trying to do it ourselves. God will change us if we have enough faith to surrender to the Holy Spirit.

I am saying that. Right? There is still more to God's will for us than we are already seeing, God would still want our growth toward that, God certainly provides help for it to be possible for us, and we will need to be open for what more there is for growth. We have not come to it, why are we yet here if we had? We then would really be needed by some others.
