Except that even that holy people had others who were accepted into there group. Consider Ruth who was from Moab Zipporah, wife of Moses, was from Midian. Faith also mattered greatly.

But God had a purpose for that holy people for the purpose of the Incarnation. We live in the new covenant now. Believers are His holy people.

The issue would be do I have a right to sell and lease land to people based entirely on race or religion? That is, do I have the right to deny someone, on the basis of their religion or their skin color, the right to own property?

The answer to that last question is no. If I own an apartment complex, I do not have the right to only lease to people of a certain ethnicity, religion, or race. I do not have a right to a "whites only apartment complex" or to a "Christians only apartment complex". That is not a right which I have as an American citizen.

And the same is true if one tried to do the same for a "blacks only" or "Jews only" or "insert group here only". Anti-discrimination laws are on the books for a reason. A good reason.

There's a predominantly Korean residential neighborhood in my town. In the vicinity there's a Korean Baptist Church, Korean restaurants, Korean grocery stores, a Korean bar*. Apparently some people prefer to live amongst their own. That's natural and normal for some individuals. I don't see anything hateful about it.

* By the way, I've been inside the bar. Standard stuff - beer, pool table, darts, jukebox. Only thing making it Korean is the Korean language signage, lol.
