You strive? Why don't you turn your sins over to God and let God change you? Trust God, not yourself

Of course I do. We all have a cross to carry. Living the faith is not easy at times. Jesus told us to pick up our cross and follow Him.
.

I understand what the Church teaches but the Church knowingly allows those in sin partake of the Eucharist.
No it does not. Read your catechism.

Tell that to priests that do not refuse anyone the Eucharist.

Who said no repentance. What better way to repent than surrender to God.
Well who inferred homosexuals are not welcome at Church? You are turning it in to something it isn’t. Nobody says, including you that it means repenting and refraining from the sin. Nothing about homosexuals worshipping with everyone else. And no, sin is not the same across the board. It’s not a sin to struggle with homosexuality. Actively engaging in it is.

Regardless of what priests decide to do, it still goes against the infallible teachings of the Church. Because a priest does it, does not make it right. I assumed you knew that.

I didn't. I know several Catholic gays who are active in the Church.
So do I. They are celibate though. And are wonderful people. Have they stumbled? *Shrug* Most of us do but they get up and try again just like we all do. But homosexuality should not be lionized as Obama seems to be doing. Sexual preference does not make a person kinder, etc. It’s a sexual preference not something magical that makes them kinder or whatever stereotype people have about them because of the narrative. There are good, kind, angry, and nasty in every group of people. Homosexuality does not make anyone more kind, creative, well dressed, abused, etc. than anyone else. Which is usually the narrative. It’s called humanity. And some things we do goes against what the Gospel teaches. That’s not discrimination. It means not doing the things you claim to believe.

I know that.
Then why use that as an excuse without saying so? Just because a priest does something that goes against what the Church teaches does not mean it’s okay.

The ones that I know aren't celibate and everyone knows it. Obama, though does not "lionize" LGBTQ. He wants them treated fairly.
Sexual preference does not make a person kinder, etc.
No, and it doesn't make them meaner, etc... They are just like everyone else, good, bad, and in-between.
There are good, kind, angry, and nasty in every group of people.
Yes.

In many cases it is. LGBTQ face discrimination just like many other minorities.
It means not doing the things you claim to believe.
Which is also normal.

Ask yourself. Why accuse me of doing so without asking?

I never said it did. I have said what I have observed since becoming Catholic.

You don’t make a lot of sense.

He should say less. One of the biggest issues that has caused sexual perversion to get such a stronghold on our country is the acceptance of it and the perpetrators. Another reason and maybe the main reason is the way our society has been promoting it through the media the last 75+ years
75 years? Can you elaborate?
