That's because God, being all creative and all, has open a vast array of different window into this Earth so that we can learn from her. The classroom is but one window. There's a lot of others a person could look through. I don't think your being honest when it's only the classroom that's in your bubble. I know that in my own interest of geology that I've been on a fair number of field trips here in the Pacific Northwest. It's these field trips where I was able to get direct hands on experience. And I'm bless in that experience has opened my eyes to what I was seeing. So then why do people pay good money to sit in a classroom and hear what the "Earth itSelf" is telling us?
Why can't the "Earth itSelf" just enlighten us on its own?
The one that had the Genesis 1 Creation story as their Creation story. And what specific "ancient middle-eastern tribe" are you referring to?
Since I'm not a panentheist, this doesn't apply to me.Let's put it this way, panentheists' god is a liar.
It did. It provided fossils and a wealth of other material evidence. Why can't the "Earth itSelf" just enlighten us on its own?
Because a single person can't go and work out everything that science has discovered about the real world for themselves. It would require many lifetimes. So then why do people pay good money to sit in a classroom and hear what the "Earth itSelf" is telling us?

No, the evidence for the evolution of whales comes from the real world, since that's where the fossils were found.
If you think that scientists have misinterpretted the real world, please point out where the misinterpretation is ...
... and receive your Nobel prize.

There's no Ark fossil to tell us that it even existed. All fossils tell us is that something lived, then died.
There's no fossil on earth that can tell us dinosaurs were on the Ark with ravens and doves.
There's no Ark fossil to tell us that it even existed.
Nor is there any evidence that a global Noah flood happened.
I agree. Because the Ark never happened. All fossils tell us is that something lived, then died.
There's no fossil on earth that can tell us dinosaurs were on the Ark with ravens and doves.
Those were scientists getting it wronmg, not a flaw with science itself.
Yes, AV, that one photo represents ALL of the fossil evidence that's ever been found in the whole entire world...
What do you think those are scientific evidence for?
If someone goes and investigates something and gets a certain result, other people go out and check it and see if they get the same result. They look at what the first guy did and see if there's anything that he might have done wrong, like where something could have affected his results without his knowledge. So they write it down on paper and pass it on ... right?
The one you've already decided is true, because if the evidence says otherwise, then Satandidit (I'm guessing?).Then one or the other has to take a hike.
And guess which one I'm going with?
Those were scientists getting it wrong, not a flaw with science itself.
And was it science or religion which corrected those?
(Hint: it was other scientists. Who were using science.)
If lots of people check the first guy's results, and the results of the other people who are checking, and they all get the same result, then it's likely that the result they get is correct.
By Golly, AV, I think you're about to understand the scientific method!
Praise Darwin!
