I’ve watched clips from another source and it’s honestly ridiculous. They’re destroying property and looting and neither is necessary. Whether one agrees with the military’s presence or not this behavior cannot be allowed. If their lawlessness gets them hurt they have no one to blame but themselves and I won’t support them.

Many people would think it moral to denounce all "leftists" in that way and treat all aliens as criminal illegals, even those that we let in as asylum seekers or refugees, even those we gave student visas to and then cancelled without telling them so they could be arrested, too. I suppose you think that would be the "moral" way of going about it. Judging by the responses in this forum, many think it the Christian way of going about it, too.

I don’t share the left vs right perspective. As far as I’m concerned there’s good and bad in both camps. I don’t support anyone who entered the country illegally and have no problem with them being deported.

And visas are issued as a courtesy and can be revoked. Unfortunately, they’ve come to the country during a tumultuous period concerning immigration. That’s the risk you take going elsewhere and I’m familiar with the process, No one attending school in America was oblivious to the problem. It’s been in the news for years and was a talking point in his campaign. Provisions should have been made just in case and the majority didn’t bother. It’s better to come in under a different category when possible. You don’t have a lot of wiggle room as students and we don’t owe them anything. Nor could you say that elsewhere.

The troops do not participate in the actual arrests or law enforcement activities, and instead immediately let go of the person once police get them under control or put them in handcuffs.

Trump has taken things right to the line, if not beyond it.

This video was apparently shot last Friday. LAPD was not given advance notice of the ICE raids. Nor do we know if/when federal officials called local polic for backup. What we can surmise is if the LAPD were on sight, they could have easily handled a few people armed with dumpsters!

We send Marines are highly skilled in killing people and ask them to pull glorified guard duty. What a waste our military.

Have you noticed that we've gone from 'they're just standing there' to reports whereby they detain people until the police arrive. What's next? They only handcuff and imprison them if the police are otherwise engaged?
