The CA Governor informed Trump on Saturday night that brining in federalized NG soldiers would only make the situation worse. That is common sense.

By Saturday evening, the protest had quieted down. Trump ignored the Governor and ordered in the NG anyway. Trump doesn't care. He wants more unrest and riots.

The NG prevented them from vandalizing federal buildings, which they tried to do. Mission accomplished.

Immigrants with legal status and/or no criminal history are being detained and deported. Is that what you voted for?

I do think that if you have not over stayed your visa and have caused no trouble, then you should not be deported.

I also believe that just because you are here legally because a past administration allowed you here doesn't mean you have a right to be permanently here.

We do have laws in place that allow a revocation of a visa or a revocation of allowance to be here. And I think those laws ought to be followed. I do t think added restrictions to those laws should be applied to LE. If the law does not exactly say that a visa holder must have 90 days notice before revocation then 0 minutes notice is good enough.

I think due process of IMMIGRATION law should be followed. Which is far different than other Criminal statutes.

I dont care if you have no criminal history. Being an illegal immigrant is enough, because that in and if itself makes you a criminal.

You know, it would be a good idea to familiarize yourself with actual immigration law. Then you would already know the answer to questions like that.

I was asked for my opinion and I gave it. I was not giving a breakdown of immigration law.

There are those here who dont know anything about immigration law. I'm not one of them. I most certainly have opinions and I believe immigration law needs to be changed.

I also believe it should be followed. By everyone including the administration.

I also understand that mistakes will be made as have been done for many many years. Its only during the Trump administration that the mistakes are a big deal for the left and the media.

I'll save you the trouble. The majority of people protesting this week did not riot. Enough did. Too many did. And as far as I'm concerned too many on Jan 6 also rioted. Although far less damage was done.
