its not a seeing of self and others as a devil, but seeing oneself as having one ... the opening post of his thread appears to be all about a distinction between two but to make a distinction calls for us to reason between them ... one good and one bad as in an eating of a tree bearing two fruits, which is to break the law and a law, which when spoken made a way for the serpent to enter in to the garden ... Jesus having kept the law did not make a way for the serpent\devil to enter in to his mind\garden ... and why he said 'and in me he has nothing.' or why he rebuked Peter for his reasoning about him going to his cross ...

i see this ... a valley of decision He drives us into, as in a threshing floor where the tares are removed and why He is near in reference to having come out of Egypt and on our way into the land ... also seeing the river parted into four heads ( the fourth the sum of the three ) but its His river and only by our perception parted ... and this by the law of our mind not kept but cast to the ground where it becomes a serpent hence we crawl ( on all fours ) on our belly's eating our own perception seeded by thoughts from without and these mingled with thoughts from within where we become lukewarm ... as in neither a here nor there but lost ... but this not out of order seeing when His judgements are upon the earth they teach righteousness ... so when i view the lamb with seven eyes and how these seven appear both good and evil like seven spirits of God or seven devils etc i see them as one or having one source and so the women remains innocent of the sacrifice, as in a lamb that appears dead or only speaks like a dragon ... an image of death we walk in and out ...

trumpets are for hearing and bowls for seeing ...

A river that when it leaves the garden (not inclosed) parts (four/earthly) into the narrative of the image flesh is to us (dust of the earth (four messengers/messages bound in the river Euphrates (the anti or cast down truth of the river of life (or the night of God’s day). what was Pentecost ( 50) in its scattering form (where God comes down over (yet another) city, built with the same material as the treasure cities of pharaoh “And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour.” (the torment of out of the mouth of an immoral woman) five months (I have five brothers/senses) now becomes a jubilee (a 50th year) in its gathering again unto one … Passover/seals/outer court … Pentecost/trumpets/holy place … bowls/Tabernacle(s)/ most holy place …

… a Passover/rest (buy of me) in us causes us to hear and see … the “rest” of this Passover determines where we are at in the process of entering into the gates of the city/Knowing that the gathering (or the rest unto life) does not begin (as an individual experience) until Babylon falls …

the door being our soul\mind ... thanks again you have again given me much to ponder ... i recall reading where you have written on occasion about 'from what feast one is viewing it from' but not seen it (Passover) like you just wrote as it determining where one is in the process of entering and i know this because of our natural mind seeing everything in a linear way when the book is written like a wheel within a wheel so all 3 are in all 3 and not like a spiral of stairs to heaven which be mans perception of how to get there ...

to keep the feast of Passover is to keep your garden enclosed, as it is to keep your women silent, as in to take no thought, as in the taking ( by force ) of thought opens the gate and allows the serpent to enter in and sow tares (which he is very subtle and crafty at) and so one must bring the battle to the gate via the chosen fast only to eat of that which grows of itself likened to a table already prepared which is to sup with our Father where he serves us and this mind one in the same as a baron women who's house is swept clean as in a Babylon that becomes desolate or silent as in a rest from our own reasoning\labor which is likened to a bottomless pit we fall into, as in a descending or a scattering ... and by this sowing follows a reaping ... so of all of process as we ascend\gathered out when we turn from the image to see ... which is the whole\sole purpose of this because He is raising us up to see as He sees, so the two keys both unlock\open and lock\close the door which is interesting if one considers a naked and unashamed Adam still subject to the law but not knowing he was not keeping it until the law was spoken and the women gave him to eat and so without the serpent seed we would not become like Him ... as in one with Him as in Him being the all in all ... go fourth and multiply is all about Him being who we are ...

And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed. He will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”

The image of who we are as dust ... the seed of a serpent.
A person in scripture is:
A. A child of God
B. Subject to the tempter in our flesh

There is no such thing as an individual in scripture other than God Himself in Christ

Knowing this we can divide the Words of God therein as follows:

A. All the good stuff is for God's children i.e. all people
B. All the bad stuff is for the devil and his messengers

Both sides of the equation are fully in force for everyone. The equation being both blessings and cursings

He thought it was from God, but in fact it was from Satan:

“And the LORD said to Satan, "From where do you come?" So Satan answered the LORD and said, "From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it." Then the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?" So Satan answered the LORD and said, "Does Job fear God for nothing? "Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? IF we only blame Satan we merely make God weaker for allowing, conceding, or being too weak and ineffective to do anything different. In fact were that the case I wouldn't bother with such a claimed God.

Yes, I agree that it was Satan acting with permission from God. I certainly didn't mean to suggest that God was too weak to resist Satan. Rather, the incident shows the limits of Satan's power. He needed God's permission to act as he did. God is sovereign, and does not require permission from anyone else before He acts. I think Job's faith in God must have been great, for we read:

“In all this Job did not sin nor charge God with wrong.” (Job 1:22 NKJV)

It's when we see that "all have sin," Romans 3:9 and that sin is "of the devil," 1 John 3:8, Mark 4:15 we can possibly see that the flesh of Job was indeed subject to the spirit of disobedience, which is basically Satan.

So in his life as in all our lives these matters are never just about "me" as an individual. God also engages the adversary within our flesh, the spirit of disobedience, the TEMPTER.

And at that point God is no longer plaguing the person, but our adversary. And WE are actually participating in their judgments, the judgments against the devil and his messengers

Job defines the Rod in its cast down state, and equates it with fear. When we bring this into the garden scenario, the rod that causes them to eat shows the fruit of this truth, but it is also the rod that drives the foolishness from the mind of the child (of God), as it is one of two that have the wisdom to build the tabernacle, which brings us back to a tree. The book of Job (is a book of within) where Job is brought to a consensus within himself.
