This is not a good translation.
In Greek you have kolasin aionion which translates as eternal punishment.
That is incorrect. But if it's true then all of the verses in the OP are false.

No. . .God has a plan to reconcile ALL THINGS that are in Christ back to him.Do you believe that God has a plan to reconcile ALL THINGS back to him, even the naughty Pharaoh?
Because our "enemies" may end up being our Christian brethren in the faith. . .View attachment 365362
Father forgive them for they know not what they do.
The bible teaches us to love and forgive even our enemies , and so I believe that God will not do any less himself.

Not all things are in Christ.
And then let the saved die in the desert anyway and never see the promised land because as usual they put their will ahead of his. He made it simple, they all made it difficult.According to God's command to Pharaoh, I say God wanted Pharaoh to let his people go (Ex 3:10, 4:22-23). . .yet God hardened his heart so that he would not let them go (Ex 4:21).
From what i'm seeing on this thread , it appears that Gods word is not at fault here but our interpretation of them is.
Ah well I guess thats the way it's always going to be.
Bingo! ....Because our "enemies" may end up being our Christian brethren in the faith. . .
Post 50 shares verses that state that God wants all to be saved and that God gets what God wants. As for the how and why, you can ask God when you meet him.![]()
Yes.Do you believe that God gets what he sets out to do?
He can persuade but will not force anyone to change their mind. Choice. Eve and Adam chose to rebel, we must choose to repent. Otherwise it all serves no purpose. he could have forced them back on track right from the start. And again repent means change. God will not force change. It has to come from us by way of a new understanding opposite to what the world we have made in our own image teaches each since birth. The blind leading the blind.
You'd probably have to explain that to folks like Jonah and Gideon and Balaam and Pharoah and St. Paul. The "God doesn't force anyone" canard doesn't tally with Scripture.God has given us the opportunity to do His will.
He won't force us to love and obey Him.
What is there to explain ?You'd probably have to explain that to folks like Jonah and Gideon and Balaam and Pharoah and St. Paul. The "God doesn't force anyone" canard doesn't tally with Scripture.

They will hate Jesus until God grants them the ability to repent and the ability to follow the Son. 1 Corinthians 15:25.But that patience has a dead-line.
