The mayor that was arrested has already had his charges dismissed and the judge scolded the US Attorney's office for charging him without a proper investigation.
He was arrested on the scene for his unlawful actions which does not require an “investigation “ but is at the discretion of the arresting officer. The charges were not dismissed because he did nothing wrong, it was an act of good will to dismiss the misdemeanor charge. The mayor got what he wanted which was press time and unwarranted sympathy for his reelection campaign.
In what world is a judge legally allowed to aid a fugitive in his escape out the back door from federal law enforcement? You are correct the courts will decide.
This. It's why I've held off commenting. It's like a small town mayor I know who was arrested for DUI and said "You can't arrest me; I'm the mayor of [name of town redacted]."
One problem here is that many can’t tell the difference between “trumped up” (pun intended)charges by criminal prosecutors and real crimes by rogue judges and holier than thou liberal lying politicians. We have a criminal judge on video and and a Congress woman on video clearly breaking the law and some liberals outraged that they were charged.

The videos are clear and sufficient to bring charges. So you do your liberal thing and deny what is there for all to see.
