I truly think that some people just tell themselves lies as a defense mechanism. If they lie to themselves long enough, they will eventually forget the truth and the lie will become their truth. Some would call that the denial stage of grief. Do you think that the liberal media was just trying to capitalize on grieving liberals by selling them copium?LOL no he didn't...he was pushed out because the Dems saw he was not going to win...and they thought Harris had a better chance and they were very wrong as we saw...
With FDR definitely
Yeah, that's what it is. People use Fox News as background noise.Yup, I covered that. Did you miss the part about where internal communications found during discovery showed that Fox News knew the information they were reporting as fact wasn't?
Ratings only show that Fox News is popular. And, again, popularity doesn't mean they are accurate, or trustworthy. Their ratings could be more attributed to the popularity of confirmation bias than much else, really.
I also wonder if a lot of people, particularly older ones, do what certain relatives of mine used to do...leave Fox News on as background noise, much like some did with the Weather Channel in past decades. Heck, I knew younger people, particularly in the 80s, who did the same thing with MTV. Who knows?
-- A2SG, if a lot of Nielsen families did this, that could explain the ratings too....let's not forget, tv ratings don't show actual viewership....
And the media. In exchange for covering it up they got access to the president. Was it wrong for FDR (and his staff) to keep his physical ailments hidden from the public?
We agree that it was wrong. Why was it wronger than when Buchanan, Wilson and FDR did it?And the media. In exchange for covering it up they got access to the president.
Do you really have to ask if it was wrong?
I'd be wary of the dreams that could come from doing that.Yeah, that's what it is. People use Fox News as background noise.
That has to be it. Maybe they sleep to it too
I think the president should be exempt from HIPA laws in that the results of their medical records should be made public due to national security. And the media. In exchange for covering it up they got access to the president.
Do you really have to ask if it was wrong?
When viewing the video it seems a lot of focus is on the word sharp. The press secretary did not say " always" sharp. She also circled the observation back to the press, they too are around the president. Additionally, age-related cognitive changes are normal. It is a natural part of getting older. He was never diagnosed with a cognitive disease. And lets remember, he did not run for a second term. So all this conspiracy is a way to deflect .Look at the date. Listen to the press secretary and then tell me it wasn’t being covered up
Cool idea. When do you think we'll see Trump's medical and cognitive test results?I think the president should be exempt from HIPA laws in that the results of their medical records should be made public due to national security.
Well, I guess Jake Tapper and Van Jones are lying about how the admistration and other media networks were lying to them and the American people. Maria said so, so it must be true. When viewing the video it seems a lot of focus is on the word sharp. The press secretary did not say " always" sharp. She also circled the observation back to the press, they too are around the president. Additionally, age-related cognitive changes are normal. It is a natural part of getting older. Off topic. If you want to talk about me and my psychological needs, start another threadIf telling yourself this will help you cope with your day, sure buddy. You are absolutely right about everything.
Copy. Kamala appeared smart and talented until she opened her mouth and went off the pre-approved script.Off topic. If you want to talk about me and my psychological needs, start another thread
Her speaking was a liability imo. Never liked the way she exaggerates pauses and tries to pump every little phrase with excess meaning. Basically, she lacks charisma. I wish that wasnt such an issue, but it is.Copy. Kamala appeared smart and talented until she opened her mouth and went off the pre-approved script.
Certainly Brit Hume is playing that game. Also not the bait and switch. Biden was accused of suffering from dementia, not of hiding a cancer diagnosis.
The first five minutes were catastrophic for Biden. For people with short attention spans, that may be enough.
Because Lord knows that Kamala's $277 million 11th hour campaign spending ($1.7 Bn) total couldn't buy enough people to ignore the obvious.Musk's 11th Hour $250 million campaign contribution had something to do with it, I'm sure.
I mixed up her pronouns. It wasn't intentional incase anyone accuses me of misgendering.Ok, yeah that was lame. Lame from Trump. And then she copied it??? Disappointing. But for me she wasnt about "big plans". It was about steady competent administration and blocking big plans I dont like.
"Steady competency admistration" = keeping the Biden overlords and puppeteers in control by replacing the puppet's Biden mask with a Kamala one.Ok, yeah that was lame. Lame from Trump. And then she copied it??? Disappointing. But for me she wasnt about "big plans". It was about steady competent administration and blocking big plans I dont like.
Hume is engaging in wishful thinking.
I think that many people ignored Biden's slowly aging before their eyes because compared to his predecessor, he was an Einstein. The bar had been lowered to the ground. Biden did his homework. He hired superbly competent, experienced, and trustworthy staff members. He clearly understood the Constitution and what government was all about from having worked in Congress for many years. Having run the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and serving as vice president he had a clear grasp of Foreign Affairs. These abilities, even if they were gradually deteriorating, were so far superior to his predecessor, who knew absolutely nothing about the Constitution or government and never bothered to do the work required to learn it, that it was easy to ignore.
