Presidential? Definitely not.
Questionable Sanity? Sure seems like it to me.
Trump's head superimposed on Journey members' bodies, performing the entire song, which he posted himself on Truth Video.
Lots of people (including me) love this inspirational song. I have it on my exercise playlist, and now it's ruined by this grotesque, unhinged, self-posted parody.

Is this what a president who has only listened to 12 briefings in four months as president doing when he should be working for us? Defacing music videos to pretend not only that he is the "star" but also that he "believes" in something other than himself.

He’s just reposting it like he did with the Gaza ai video. I don’t believe for a second that he would know how to prompt AI to make this.

I think that it's very fitting that Trump endorses a song that is basically about people living a horrible life and just hanging on by sheer willpower.

Of course he must be just joking. That is the most common excuse for his bizarre behaviors.
But haven't we all noticed a general trend to just make stuff up and believe it is if it were reality?
And then his most ardent followers believe these fantasies regardless of the facts.

Sounds like Fantasy-prone personality (FPP): This describes a personality trait characterized by a deep and extensive involvement in fantasy. Individuals with Type 1 FPP may have difficulty distinguishing between fantasy and reality.

There are several of these with his and Musk's faces on several songs on YouTube. Don't get mad at Trump for what someone else created. The irrelevant stuff that everyone focuses on.

It's almost as if Trump wakes up every morning and thinks, "How will I get under Fantine's skin today?"

Here is another one of his hits.

Trump is a man of many talents.

But Trump's reposting it on Truth Social is an "endorsement" of the video. I'm sure he has lawsuits pending on some you tube videos posted, but he reposts this disgustingly obsequious tribute to him because TBT, it is exactly how, in his unhinged mind, he sees himself.

There is only one other incident where a president has done anything remotely similar--and it was obviously done in a joking way. President Obama spoke at the Al Smith Dinner in NYC, raising money for charity, and made fun of the vicious "birther" lies Trump spread about him. In a reference to the Lion King, he refers to himself being held up by his father on the Kenyan mountains--like Mufasa held up his newborn lion cub. The Cardinal at the time (Egan?) looked apoplectic, didn't get the joke at all, couldn't figure out that Obama was making fun of the fake mythology Trump had created.

I think he just does what another normal human being does. He found something funny on social media and shared it with his followers. Try not to over think it.

I like the song also, but it doesn't change anything the song in my mind because of a cartoon picture.

If another world leader posted something similar--Macron, Zelensky, Prince Charles, Putin, Carney--would you not think they had more than a few screws loose, or that they were 51 cards short of a full 52 card deck?

And that's because the action is indicative of someone who has more than a few screws loose.

This one is a classic. I am surprised it didn't get the media attention it deserved.

See that's what I mean. That is the kind of video he would sue people about because it would be so damaging to his brand. He prides himself on cutting Medicaid and SNAP for the needy children of America, deporting children, denying birthright citizenship and keeping those food trucks out of Gaza lest fewer children starve.

Anybody who goes back to post WWII times understand what is meant by great times. Unfortunately every class level has a differing opinion of what that meant. I think I can safely say that all at the time knew what made it work even if it was not to the liking of some. The wealth, unlike today, was constantly flowing between rich and poor. Corporatism had not yet reached the tipping point and all classes were on a roll. Even the rebellious youth of the 60's were having a great time. That stopped when the circular flow stopped. I highly doubt Trump or anyone else in politics or the upper crust today want to see a return to the flow., but I do believe they want to feel as elite as they were back then. This is what both influenced those outside of the US to either love or hate the nation. They liked the prospects but hated the arrogance. If someone other than Trump were trying to do what he is doing today in restoring greatness, it might happen, especially if it were based on loving all as self and sharing the wealth like in post WWII. However narcissism sees greatness in a different form.
